I pinned this spot on my drive around Kentucky because I knew it was a unique location with a historically designated status that only Kentucky could offer. Although it is closed to traffic, you can access this by foot to take in all the historical feeling it exudes. While it did have a lot of graffiti, I'm glad I checked it out and gave my dog a different scenery to explore. If you're a history buff, it's worth detouring here because it's quite unusual to see a relic like this elsewhere. It's secluded enough to offer privacy yet inviting enough for the public to check out. Although my visit was short, it certainly was worthwhile. read more
