I had a large variety of name brand clothing: gap, children's place, ralph lauren, etc. i followed their directions to a t, washing the clothes and separating by gender into clear plastic totes. The lady working spent only a couple of minutes going through the items before telling me that I was better off having a yard sale, despite the fact they were advertising in need of winter clothing, which is exactly what I brought. Funnily enough, while I was waiting for her to look through my items, I browsed their selections and saw both target and Walmart brands on their racks. Also, I seemed to be an inconvenience to her despite the fact that I had made an appointment for drop off. I feel this way because I was definitely not spoken to in the same way that the two other paying customers who were there at the same time were. I guess she didn't like the fact that I was browsing while she was going through my items. I had picked some shoes for my kids, but decided not to purchase after feeling so unwelcome. Bottom line: You are better of buying brand new from walmart, target, or literally any other children's clothing store having a sale.

As far as selling you any frivolous overpriced baby item under the sun, they will be very attentive. However, if you have any issue at all with a product they have sold then they take no accountability and are borderline disrespectful if you try to return or exchange that item. I paid a ridiculous amount for an outfit from here and although it was much more than I normally might have spent, it is my first child and I wanted to do something special. After I went home and was putting her clothes away I realized that the snap buttons were completely faulty and would not work at all so the whole outfit just hung open. I wish I had tested out all of her clothes in the store but I had my hands full with her and really didn't expect it. I brought them back immediately after noticing (with the tags and the receipt) and they refused to take it back under any circumstances, even though that is not a policy they had posted anywhere. I was told that I was the one who broke the outfit even though that's impossible that I could have manufactured it with weak/faulty snaps. The teenage girl working at the store tried to start an arguement with me and continued the conversation after I had given up with a long line of questioning. All I wanted was an exchange for the same item that wasn't broken and she would not budge at all. I was told that the manager would be getting back to me about it and even took down all my information but never contacted me. I will not be recommending them to anyone else or ever going back. After the way they treated me over what should have been a simple return/exchange, I wish I did not give them so much business to begin with. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

While the store does a good job of marking the difference between the two, some racks of very close to each other and some items may be mixed together. The back dressing room was closed, and only two were available up front, where there was a line of four-five people waiting. When I got to the register where "Cassey" was working, I asked about the back dressing room, and she smuggly told me it was closed. Really? I had just left the area, so I kinda figured that out. I also inquired about the restrooms. Again, Cassey proudly announced they're locked. Really? I said this is a disservice to your customers. If I have to walk all the way to the register and ask Miss Cassey to find someone to unlock the door and stand for ten minutes waiting, only to have to walk back to the register and ask again, is nonsense!!! Ross - consider the handicap and the mother with 3 wailing babies or heaven forbids a senior who needs a restroom immediately. It was such an unpleasant experience at Ross and Cassey, you definitely need to be trained and have a little sensitivity for people who are waiting.
