Ryan Swink is an excellent chiropractor! I would recommend him whole heartedly. I'm 54 and have been going to chiropractors since I was a teenager. I feel that Ryan Swink is the best one that I've seen and I grew up, going to chiropractors in the San Francisco area. read more

Let me start by saying that Dr. Swink (elder) has amazing technique for adjustments. He knows where to work your body. On the other hand, he really hurt me. After my second session, he bruised my butt so bad that it hurts to sit and I have a large dark-colored welt. I don't think this is proper treatment. read more

First and foremost, I am a supporter of proper chiropractic care. I have found it extremely beneficial when the doctor does not attempt to treat outside of their training. That said, Swink Chiropractic is way out of line with that philosophy. Personally, I never would have continued beyond one visit, because the minute you step foot into their sideshow, the hard sell begins. But my wife was good friends of theirs, and for some reason was drinking the grape Kool-Aid, so that's how this story unfolds.... Our son has ADD. When, during some brief conversation with Ryan this game to light, my wife was told they could "adjust it out of him." They went on to formulate their own diagnosis, remedy and treatment, which of course included weekly visits and a full regimen of supplements. Coincidentally, they carried this specific supplement. And it was costly. I voiced my concern to my wife, but she saw fit to let them try. Suffice it to say the only part of their "miracle treatment" that was successful was the lightening of my wallet. My concern is that these people are nowhere near qualified, let alone licensed to make any type of diagnosis like this. I was going to call the state medical board and report them, but I was asked not to by my wife, so I let it go. As for my personal, one time experience with these snake oil salesmen, is that they are focused on selling you repeat visits (whether needed or not) under the thinly veiled guise of a wellness program, and selling high cost supplants. You have been warned. read more

I've been going here twice a week for a few months now and I highly recommend! Small, humble, family-owned and operated office. Very nice family and I think they do a great job working together. Yes-- they sell supplements, oils, etc. so you can expect to hear about some products every now and then but I wouldn't call it pushy or rude at all. Adjustments have been great and so far, Dr. Ryan Swink has done the best job in my Chiro experience of actually TEACHING ME and visually demonstrating with props what's going on in my spine, why it's not functioning, and how the adjustments fix that. He does a 12 point inspection at each adjustment which is cool on it's own, but also reassures me that there's actually progress being made! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Swink for years and I believe that he truly has a gift for adjustments. I have seen many other chiropractors over the years but have never felt that they could realy isolate the problem area like Doc Swink can. I thank him silently every morning when I can move my neck without pain and crunching after an adjustment. Since 4 stars is "YAY! I'm a fan." I chose that rather than 5 stars "As good as it gets." rather unfairly to Swink Chiropractic because chiropractic care is expenive...no matter where you go...and my insurance holds the doctor hostage by not allowing them to see the patient more than a few times a year without downgrading them. Sandy, the office manager, has spent an eternity on hold with my insurance company working for me. In a perfect world I would be able to go once a week but I just can't afford that. Keep up the good work...my neck thanks you! read more

I did not have a good experience with the doctor. I had a recent back pain from exercise and wanted relief more than anything. He kept asking me if I wanted to reach "wellness" or "simply get rid of symptoms." And when I said I wanted to feel better he laughed. I found this not in line with what I wanted on my team for health. read more

Cannot vouch for the doctor, as the receptionist was so breathtakingly rude that I didn't even schedule an appointment. They might want to rethink their desk staff if they want to appear welcoming and friendly. read more

As a competitive athlete for decades, I have many structural ailments that bother me periodically. I have been to about a dozen chiropractors in my lifetime. I have nothing bad to say about them, but can say that Dr. Ryan Swink is the best by far. He took XRays in house, developed them, studied them, and then discussed his findings with me before even starting a wellness regimen. I go in oftentimes in pain, and come out feeling awesome. Great experience all around. read more

Worst Chiropractor office I have ever gone too! They act like they are interested in wellness however they are only interested in your money. Dr. Swink uses the same sales pitch for every patient that basically translates to "you will get diseases and die" if you don't come in for Chiropractic adjustments from him every other day. They are constantly trying to "sell" you and were not forthcoming or honest with me in regards to charges for different chiropractic treatments. The wife whom runs the front desk is rude, unprofessional and pretentious. I would never recommend anyone to go here; if you are seeking wellness for your spinal ailments go elsewhere. read more

Ryan is very knowledgeable and attentive. He has helped not just me but also my husband and my daughter. I highly recommend him.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Swink Chiropractic! Dr. Ryan has always taken the time to explain all of the treatment to me and as opposed many chiropractic offices where patients seem to be "cycled through", he took his time and ensured that all of my questions were answered. Great atmosphere, good people and quality treatment! read more

I had a similar experience. Seemed more interested in up selling than my concerns or situation. I've been in the care of several chiropractors over the years, and needed one in this area. Dr. Swink will not be that chiropractor read more

Dr. Bob Swink has been absolutely wonderful to me. Always pleasant, cheerful, and helpful; not to mention he relives and heals my back and neck pain! Dr Swink can also help with allergies if you know what it is you are allergic to; fabulous! Very nice, friendly, caring family! read more

We went to Swink and we weren't impressed with the facility, the office manager, or his level of care. When we did find a chiropractor we liked, we tried to get our x-rays from Swink, which was a total nightmare. The woman running the office was very passive aggressive, refusing to give us the x-rays, or to put them in the mail, and saying that they legally had 15 days to get them to the new doctor. She also told my wife that they didn't want patients like us anyway. Further, she tried to blame everything on the new doctor's office manager, saying she'd overstepped her bounds (how, I don't know) then she ended our conversation with "there's no need for you to call here again." Quite unprofessional. We had a strong sense that they were going to try to sell us on supplements because everything behind the counter was a single brand - like they were a store or doing network marketing. The office manager implied that chiropractic care was able to take the place of inoculations and that their grandchildren had had some sort of chiropractic evaluation/treatment before the umbilical chord had been cut. We felt like she was priming us for something. Then, when she pushed for us to bring in our 19 month old for chiropractic care, we knew they weren't on the up and up. I would suggest you avoid this place. The office manager will act like your best friend - she even tried to playoff their standard cost as if she'd given me a discount based on our "rapport". This rapport was developed, apparently, when I asked her how much a visit and an initial consultation would cost, before even telling her my name. Then, if things don't go well, she does a complete 180. They're likely to deteriorate the professional respect chiropractors have worked so hard to earn within the medical community and the trust by the public. So, stay away. read more
