The staff know me after so many years and they know what I like. That feels good as a customer. If I need deli-service I can toss a coin on the level of service I'll get. One time a young clerk stood in front of me and stared. No "hello, may I help you." I smiled as I looked at him and said- "Good morning?" I held hope that my example would help him mirror my behavior and be friendlier to the next person. At the coffee counter, my chances are 70/30 that I'll get poor service. It feels like they're doing me a favor. I drink black coffee. Simple and easy, yet it's usually an awkward experience. The supplement department staff is usually excellent and very helpful. The inventory is good. I usually find what I need. The produce section is well stocked. I like their avocados. I rarely need help, but the staff is always helpful and friendly when I do. I love the self-serve bulk spice and tea section. You can save so much money buying in bulk. Check-out cashiers can be very good and friendly or tepid. Considering how much I'm paying for the privilege to shop here, I shouldn't be so casual about this store, but there are few markets in the area. Customer service is a tough job, I understand.

But never, in my life, have I worked so hard to do business with a company!!!! They offer colic insurance which i signed up for with first Platinum Performance, and then Platinum Performance CJ under my vet's recommendation. My vet actually spent time working with the founders of the company and explained the high quality standards these products are produced under. Again, I do not have any complaints about the product. The customer service is the most frustrating bunch of people I have ever had to deal with. It started last winter with the covid "shortage" and my auto-ship was messed up. And it has been a battle ever since... I have had my card debited numerous times with a different amount than was invoiced via e-mail (approx $165 for a normal approx $70 charge) large random amounts that had nothing to do with product I was receiving. Debited at different times, as the other reviewed stated above, debited and don't receive the product for a week or so. I feel like I'm giving my credit card information to people who are totally incapable for handling this information. Again, I have NEVER experienced this with any other auto-pay/auto-ship program I have enrolled into. They have messed up so many times they kept sending me product to make up for it. I then had a surplus of product and explained i don't need then to send me any more for a while (I had three months sitting there) and they told me they would take away my insurance coverage! I followed the program, I provided payment information, and had even offered to pay for the product they sent! But if you stop for a month, they take away your colic insurance coverage, which is why you sign up for the auto-pay in the first place!! I had two months sitting in my barn at the beginning of September and called then to tell them not to send anything until October, knowing that i would be without coverage for a month. I spoke with the representative and we BOTH agreed the next payment date would be October 8 (which is the date I am paid). And guess what...yep, they messed up again! This morning I woke up to a text from my bank that they had debited my card this morning, OCTOBER 4!! You cannot talk to anyone but the customer service representatives. I have tried to reach upper management because I really feel that they are abusing financial information of clients. They do not take seriously the consequences of their random and untimely charges on the customer. I have had to pay overdraft fees because i budget, and they are not sticking to the schedule they have lined out!!!! I understand this organization has been bought out by Merck. I am now going to reach out to Merck to find out who is in charge of Platinum Performance and hopefully get some resolution. Again, product is great, but be prepared to check your credit card statement carefully and expect to have delays in shipment. Since Covid they seem to be running short a lot lately. A good friend of my also uses the product and has started over ordering in order to not run out... This country has been dealing with Covid now for a year and a half - those problems have had plenty of time to be addressed and worked out!!!

They have also increased their selection of Grab-n-Go food items. This makes having a delicious lunch or dinner all the more special. And as we all strive to eat healthier these days, they have a nice selection of Organic, Keto, Gluten Free, Plant Based, Non GMO, and Paleo items.
