We are painting our entire house so the process of choosing colors and the type of paint becomes…read morerather overwhelming. Upon entering a paint store, you are pretty much standing in front of thousands of color palettes wondering which one to start with first. Luckily we had our painter with us who coordinated with Benjamin Moore staff on what we need as color and type of finish. This was followed by the mixing of paint, once the color decision was final. Our painter explained to the staff what we needed and they just started mixing the paint and hauling it to our car. The experience was very fluid and enjoyable. Our stress melted away. This is a huge endeavor to take on alone but with help from experienced people makes it pleasant. I do recommend having someone who knows what you need to come with you as this, paired with the staff's knowledge, will allow you to get what you are looking for.

However their customer service was not good at all. We had many different questions but never received straight answers. The lady working there would just wander off while we were interacting and trying to find what we needed. When she'd come back we would try again to ask for guidance but yet again she would just walk around and leave us. I'd rather just go to the large hardware chains to get my paint.

Why can't you mix one customers paint while helping another? The average time to help one person, let alone just running in to grab one thing, will have you waiting a minimum THIRTY MINUTES. You're better off skipping this place and swallowing some unknown household chemicals.
