You can see their work in lots of local businesses here, including the new big Frank and Oak downtown. They partner with other artists COOP Etabli who design beautiful original furniture featured in the space alongside their standing lamps, intricate overhead lights, and modern interpretations of chandeliers. They've evolved way beyond the clusters of Edison bulbs that are pretty ubiquitous now and if I had hundreds of dollars to spend on custom gorgeous art pieces to light my home I'd have one in every room. Just Received a container of rexoseal and 5 rolls of seam fabric ( the fabric was made in the US )…read moreI LIKE THAT Started cleaning a rubber roof on a 1997 class C, that had been Black for a couple years.....to the extent that it stained the sides black - next unplanned project. Surface prep of the RV's was not too difficult and the product stuck quick & securely This stuff was easy to apply. Simply apply with a disposable paint brush, it goes on like thick paint They stated that it is best to apply when rain is not expected for at least 3 days Well, as luck would have it, it rained about 9 hours after I applied the 2nd coat. Fearing the worse, I checked the repairs a couple of days later and was surprised The seams were still in great condition I even did a classic Southern California type of speed it up, and get it done quick.....Application ..... I did just 3 wipes back and forth with a scotch pad, blew the dirt / dust away with a couple quick breaths and the applied 2 fast brush strokes of the rexoseal The laid an end of the fabric on the wet spot, tapped it into place and applied another 2 brush strokes ( remember it rained just a few hours later ) I went up to check the seams which appear to be very good and the 'hack job' test repair - I left about 5 inches of a fabric 'tail' which I could pull on, to see just how well it would actually hold to the poorly prepared surface The rexoseal held extremely tight, securely enough that the rubber membrane lifted when pulled and finally released with a snap Talk about amayzing results I'm ready to order enough rexoseal to complete the entire roof, Not just the seams Since sealing just 4 problem areas the leaks have stopped And I'm ready to repair the ceiling and wall that prior rains have damaged Customer is excited and wants to fix their RV and enjoy out again We have been repairing RVs for years, and do everything but rubber roofs Appears that May soon change Looks like We have a product that we feel good about, and will give our clients superior results and a fair price. You won't find a lot of mainstream oils featuring sad kittens and clowns here, and you'll generally get to see some pretty weird stuff. Paintings, yes, and often, but alongside a good bunch of photography and sculpture, with the occasional animatronic gizmo thrown in to remind you that this is the atomic age. Adventurous young thrusters and local university graduate student artists are recurringly featured. It's a pretty good place to find and speak to the artists during vernissages; the staff are present and fairly visible, and they'll gladly point out or lead you over to the paint-speckled creators of the featured attractions when asked. The light, space, and relatively low noise levels permit and encourage conversation. The coat racks (in cold weather) and above-average wine encourage people to stay a while. The combination of lots of room, good, warm light, reliably unusual and interesting art, ample free street parking, clean restrooms, and proximity to Rue Notre Dame's bars and restaurants for a drink afterwards makes this my favorite vernissage destination in Montreal. I'm on their mailing list for keeps. The name? It's an old commercial laundry, repurposed.
