The instructors truly focus on each child's individual swimming ability and level. They provide techniques to help improve their skills based on each child's comprehension and development. Their methods of engagement and patience create smooth transitions. I also love that the children are rewarded by advancing to the next level once they've demonstrated what they've learned and can apply those skills during their sessions. Every staff member is extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. They remember each child's name and genuinely make us feel like family. I've already recommended this location to family and friends, and I will continue bringing my children here for the long term. We've had such a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, after nearly a year of consistent lessons, I am extremely disappointed. I pay $70 for a 30-minute session for my two children, and I cannot honestly say that they have the same swimming skills they came into to the program with. I expected them to learn something after this much time and money. What concerns me most is the lack of noticeable progress. Month after month, we continued attending, but I wasn't seeing the kind of improvement I would expect from children who have been receiving consistent instruction for almost a year. I also have concerns about the instructors. From my experience observing the lessons, some of them do not appear to have the level of training, confidence, or experience I would expect from instructors teaching children to swim and, more importantly, teaching water safety.it's literally a different instructor each week nothing is ever noted as progress for the child and it seems I've been watching go my boys do the exact same thing week after week. I don't expect every child to become an expert swimmer in a year. I DO expect to see measurable progress, clear goals, and instructors who can explain exactly what my children are working on and why they aren't progressing. The fact that my kids enjoy going is honestly the only reason I stayed this long. But enjoyment cannot replace actual instruction and results. For what we are paying, I expected much more. At this point, I have to seriously question whether we're paying for swimming instruction or simply paying for 30 minutes of pool time. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously, because parents are trusting you with something extremely important: teaching our children skills that can literally save their lives.

There's not enough quotations in the world to describe how almost oddly shaped this place is as well, like a labyrinth, resembling that of the painting "Relativity" from M C Escher's work.... Hmmm. I don't like to have to be a maze runner to go to each location aesthetically but it's OK in my opinion, probably due to the lack of space given so I'll give it an ok feeling. This is the only one I know in south bay that has BOXING gym which is cool, but its in the dungeon underneath the gym, so enjoy it alone I guess? no ones ever in there but I bought some gloves so I'll punch a few. The only two PROS to this place compared to El Segundo is the outdoor gym is nice if you like a bit of fresh air instead of the luxury indoor interior. Second Jacuzzi is Gender Fluid, so ANYONE MAN WOMAN ALIEN ENTITY, may join in... And I've see one or two people I'd like to say Hi too if you know what I mean.. Hehehee.. And I mean probably like one or two people on any given day you would consider approachable that aren't retired folks, or teenagers, (if you are a single young adult like me :) Hey to each there own but this place is more like a converted 24 hour fitness with a few more unique things (boxing, outdoor jacuzzi) but also lacking in a few areas (less classes, small sauna/steam room, packed showers with little privacy and terrible handicap one)

I like how the classes are longer than in SF. However, the older woman at the front desk was horrible. Not friendly or helpful and lazy when I asked where the beachfront yoga was. She also didn't tell me I needed a towel. Facilities are eh, seems pretty beach-y. I heard the El Segundo one is nicer

We did a couple days of the immersive class with her and after the second day she was laughing and loving every second with teacher Jackie. She loved it so much that after the end of the four day immersive classes (45minute 1:1s) she wanted to keep doing classes. So we signed her up for a few more 1:1s once a week. After a couple more of them, she was jumping off the deep end, floating, swimming back to the ledge and pulling herself out all by herself. The patience and joy teacher Jackie brought was worth every penny!

It was torture going there week after week seeing other kids advance and our guy stay at level 1. We took a big break from lessons until we found CC Swim Academy and Ali in particular, who is a fantastic instructor. Now, with two little ones, 5 and 3, we dove headfirst into lessons and they both progressed so quickly. Ali has taught them the building blocks of swimming and it was amazing to watch. They've now learned so much and Ali has made them really comfortable in the water. They jump in the pool, do flips, go on water slides, etc. All things that take confidence they learned from Ali.
