We've had numerous canceled classes due to the heaters not working, or some other miscellaneous fix that's needed. With that being said, the reason we still take our toddler to this school is because of the staff. We've had incredible instructors like Ms. Bella and our current instructor, Mr. Dylan. They have made us feel so comfortable with her our child in the water. Her improvement and comfortability in the water is a testament to their tutelage. And we believe this level of excellence is cultivated from the top. We've had the good fortune of working directly with Flavio (Manager) for the vast majority of our time at the school. He's the best front facing representative any business could ask for. He's so intentional about making sure families feel seen and heard, and that the kids are always made to feel special. His warmth and general demeanor sets the high standard that permeates throughout the school. His leadership and willingness to meet each family where they are has kept us here and we look forward to seeing our little one continue to thrive under his and his team's guidance. Obviously, we hope there are some investments made into the facility, but in the meantime, we are happy to have found Australian Swim School and would encourage any new parent to trust them with their child.

They can't keep the door closed while "unlocked," so it is routinely propped open. In the summer this might be tolerable, but in the winter when it's 46f outside the cold air pours directly inside while children are in the pool or getting in and out of the pool wet. I'm sitting there fully dressed, in a jacket, completely dr and I'm cold. I can't imagine how cold the kids are getting out of the pool. This has been going on far too long and is unacceptable from a health and safety standpoint. Maybe there is an agency that oversees this and they can be reported to. What's worse is that staff and coaches are not allowed to complain about these conditions because they'll be reprimanded. That puts parents in the position of watching obvious problems go unaddressed while management does nothing. The lack of concern for the kids wellbeing is frustrating. This isn't an isolated issue. The water fountain is leaking onto the concrete, just wasting water. The bathroom heaters broken for over three years, they now make noise but still don't generate any heat. Recurring pool heating issues The electrical closet constantly emits alarms and whistling noises Yet somehow money was found for a new iPad for checkin while basic infrastructure and safety issues are ignored. The coaches are great, and the kids love the lessons but the facility neglect overshadows everything. Until management prioritizes maintenance and the comfort and safety of children, I cannot recommend this swim school.

After one lesson I already saw progress happening and after only a few weeks of lessons (few times a week), my daughter passed the pool safety requirements and can swim! Carolina made my daughter feel comfortable and no longer scared. Now she loves to swim and especially jump into the deep end of the pool. Carolina was extremely responsive during the lessons process, flexible, and gave so much advice when it came to my younger daughter who we agreed may not be ready for lessons just yet. I appreciated her honesty and thoughtfulness. She showed professionalism and her love of teaching kids in each lesson. We will definitely be calling her next year for my younger daughter's lessons. Every day they have at least 2 deck supervisors with clipboards observing all the classes. Sometimes they suggest having specific students test; other times an instructor will flag them to test a kid in their class. If you ask at the end of class, they'll tell you what skill they need to work on to move up. I'm sure if you work with your kids between classes, they move up faster, but the notion that they hold kids back without reason just doesn't ring true based on what I've observed. Side note that my kids really enjoy the warm environment in the pool area. They don't need time to adjust to a cold pool & their muscles don't immediately freeze up due to cold air when they get out. He is the most exceptional swim instructor I've ever encountered and we had several before we decided to exclusively have our son swim with him. He is so patient, and does an exceptional job at balancing silliness to bond with the children and discipline to motivate the little swimmers to want to be better and level up to make him proud. My son has been coming to water wings since 9mo old but had to stop for a year due to ear infections. When he returned he was terrified to submerge his head under water and it was just by random chance that he was in a group class with Ryan! He quickly took to Ryan and would scream bloody murder if he didn't swim with his favorite instructor, so we opted for private lessons! It was at that point that everything took a huge turn! We had originally signed Jaxon up to be "water safe" but he was so motivated and built such an amazing bond with Ryan that he has stayed with him for now more than a year in a 1:1 setting and now wants to competitively swim. HE IS now the best swimmer in the house, and is far beyond his peers AND his older friends who are 7+. At THREE YEARS OLD our son has almost perfected the breaststroke, freestyle, 6 kick switches, dominates backstroke, is doing front flips diving into the water, tumble turn flips off the wall, can swim underwater, deep dive for objects, can hold his breath for more than 30 seconds and so much more! NOBODY has ever seen anything like this. Ryan is truly one of a kind and we will forever be grateful for all that he's done for Jaxon! The sky is the limit with such a brilliant instructor by his side! She was still in the class with 4 year olds and is almost 6. Multiple kids she started with were moved up in an appropriate timeline but not her. Every time we spoke to them about it they said she was almost ready but never took any action. As someone else with a similar review mentioned, the beginners groups class teachers are useless and treat it as playtime instead of actually teaching my child how to properly swim. Or care enough to make sure she's moving up to a level where she can actually be challenged to grow instead of splash around with toddlers. We will never attend classes here again. We removed her and are going elsewhere.

He can now float on his back for 30 seconds and can flip over from swimming when he gets tired. Even my almost two year old is nearly swimming. Today, Safoura was letting go as my daughter was dog paddling to the steps. Incredible. Neither of my kids could do any of this a week and a half ago. Safoura has this great easy going positive personality--and my kids love her. She has two of her own so she gets it from both sides. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend.

In full disclosure, in Summer 2023, we enrolled him in a water wings class for 2 months. In Summer 2024, we signed him up with a different 1 on 1 private instructor for a few months. So, my son had familiarity with swim lessons, but he had never been able to float or do much of anything on his own in the water. I mean, he is still working on blowing water bubbles becuase he hates putting his face in the water. So, to see Allyson *magically* had him doing all this with 2 lessons... I mean, I have no words to express my appreciation! She knows what she is doing! She is teaching life saving skills first! And she has a totally laid back and straight forward, no nonsense demeanor that I just respect so much! So going into these classes my son was pretty on edge and would cry at almost every class for the first few weeks. But Andy was VERY patience with my son. Andy created the perfect balance of knowing when to play games and have fun and when to push my son to learn a new skill! Because of that balance, my son was able to learn a bunch of water skills, including jumping into the water and swimming back to the edge (helping him to be much more water safe), plus he now loves the water and loves swimming.
