Money making machine! All about the money and no value to engage. A bunch of great swim meets but no growth path that one can rely on. Too many swimmers in the team with top swimmers barely able to get value. Coaches rely on 1 or 2 front swimmers to make themselves feel valuable. But the training doesn't target improvements across the team. No engagements if a swimmer doesn't attend trainings but monthly payment deductions are consistent. If you must join here, then pause membership whenever you confirm you won't be able to attend consistent monthly trainings. Resume payment when you're able to attend. The extra free month is to make you be consistent with monthly payment but thats not valuable. Stop payment by sending email notice and restart when you're able. We didn't train for over 6months, because the East Cobb location was outdoor even during the winter with no coverage provided to weather the cold! If joining the East Cobb location, don't join. Training is outdoor even during winter, don't believe promises of getting a tarp, they've been saying that for over 3yrs without actually doing that. Great coach in East Cobb but not worth it. Coach Caleb is totally awful, no engagements with parents other than collecting money. No value add on technique correction because they're like Sardines at GA Tech! Just awful. Try MAAC! read more

Thanks to the kind, amazing people at Swim Atlanta, my daughter was able to get a tech suit. This was not an option for us so late in the season and they made it happen. We absolutely love Swim Atlanta Johns Creek! The instructors really seem to care about their students, remember their names, and give good feedback to parents about what their child needs to work on. Instructors really focus on the child's potential and strengths while also addressing their weaknesses. They recommend classes for your child based on those and explain their recommendations well. We have been at Swim Atlanta for a year and are extremely happy with it. read more

INSTRUCTORS ARE GOOD n so FRIENDLY. Facility is VERY OLD. It's CROWDED, not very clean, SMALL POOL, PARKING is a nightmare, sign outside is rusty, CHANGE ROOMS SMELL n they look unsanitary. I've only seen them clean it once in the little time we've been h NEED a new facility, a BIGGER POOL desperately. Go here because its close by, great location n friendly instructors but the FACILITY IS TERRIBLE. Please BUILD A NEW POOL here. I went by yesterday to buy a swim suit and goggles. It was a great experience. Jennifer and the team there are knowledgable, professional and have top notch customer service. They walked me through the selections, gave me concise advice, let me try the goggles in the pool, and loaned me a towel. I was impressed. I used the suit and goggles today in a workout and was very pleased with the purchase. I highly recommend this team. read more

Johns Creek location Over crowded, small and not the cleanest. Instructors are just okay for the most part, and change for every 4 week session, right as your child starts to trust them and feel comfortable with them. We felt like we were taking a step backward at the start of every session. But, we kept going back to Swim Atlanta only because of their location. This changed after a horrible experience with the owner/manager. Being outright rude and questioning my intentions as a parent, just because I did not agree with SwimAtlanta's recommendation, is NOT acceptable in any scenario, but especially NOT in the presence of my children and other customers. They are not willing to listen to parents'concerns. When told that we had not been happy with our experience there, their first response was "then why do you keep coming back?". Great customer service, right? We decided that losing our fees for registered classes was better than going back there. When notified of our decision, management responded with a single line saying they understood, but NO apology! They don't care because they know there's no competition close by. Management issues make this a place I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. read more

The facility is very old, crowded, and seems dirty, as said in other reviews. Also after completing a class the instructor said my child could swim 5 feet but when calling to move him up to the next class they said he could only swim 2 feet and wouldn't move him up. He would have to retake the same class (a month of twice a week lessons) before moving up a level, no thank you! The instructor was nice, but didn't push the children to learn quickly and to their potential. I will not be returning and definitely would not refer anyone to the Johns Creek Swim Atlanta. read more

For middle school students they have reduced the swim time from 1 hour to 45 minutes... Whereas at YMCA and other places middle school students swim for one hour.... They reduced the time because they do not have pool space as the pool is small... If you want your kid to build some stamina, look somewhere else as in YMCA read more

We just moved here from California and my son was trying out for the local High School swim team. He was not in swim shape and he was trying to make a very competitive team. We signed him up for the pre-tryout training session with coach Jeff in order to get him ready. He was great, not only did our son get conditioned, but he gave him several tips regarding his strokes and his turns. Our son made the varsity swim team thanks to Jeff and admitted that he wouldn't have without the training. I would highly recommend Swim Atlanta John's Creek. read more

Some instructors are great, but some are not at all. Facility needs updating desperately and for what you pay to have your child swim there it is a mystery as to why it can not be improved. Very difficult to communicate or get a straight answer out of anyone. Pool is FILTHY and now my child has skin issues directly related to that. Gross. We had bad experience at Swim Atlanta- Suwanee location. My son had been to the Infant Swimming Resource(ISR) when he was 3 and was able to float and swim on his back pretty well. We moved to Johns creek and had enrolled him at Swim ATL . We had to start all over from their PS1 class . Over a year's time he reached GS1 level and now I have to take him out of Swim ATL because he is so terrified due to one of the female instructor. My little guy who told me that he couldn't wait to jump in the pool is so scared now of swim classes. This female teacher was so unfriendly and rude and one day my son got out of the pool mid class and won't return back to the class. I asked the teacher what had happened and her answer was " I don't know what's going on..the class is continuing..". The same day, 2 other kids were also in tears during the same session. If kids are still crying in GS1 sessions (remember these are mostly kids who went through all their preschool sessions), then there is something wrong with the teacher or their methodology. I don't think a teacher who teaches 4 year old should be behaving that way. The week my son was attending her class, as soon as he woke up he told me he did not want to go swim class that day and would cry all the way to the swim class. I don't think all teachers are like this, but there this particular one did not seem fit to teach the kids. The office staff was friendly and helpful. But, we won't return.. read more
