Schiller Hardware is located in Louisville, KY. I contacted them, and they did come and see the poorly installed job that they did. The installation manager said that they would correct the poorly installed door issues, including the large jam gap, so it can be properly locked. But he would have to charge us $900 more. I told him that we spent hundreds of dollars purchasing the door through Schiller's Hardware, so why should we pay $900 more to have it installed correctly? This door was installed incorrectly around 2017. However, this door is supposed to last 20 to 30 years with normal use because it is a steel door, provided it was properly installed in the first place, which it was not. I have bought several items through Schiller Hardware in the past years and they always stood behind their products. I do have a problem with a company that doesn't stand behind their work. This is why I am giving Schiller Hardware a zero review.
