We chose to dine on their colorful outdoor terrace, and when I tell you that we were transported to another country.... I mean, it literally took us out of Tally and dropped us in a tropical paradise. As the sun went down, the lights began to glow. The ambiance was surreal. I repeatedly told my husband I felt thousands of miles away from home. Was it the cafe lights or the Sangria? I can't be sure. The live music began and it was a whole vibe. Heads turned, ears perked up, and an entire terrace just exhaled. The sultry atmosphere was only overshadowed by the savory food. Dear Lord we ate far too much. What is that saying? Ask forgiveness not permission. Sounds about right. We started with cocktails and Fried Yucca. The Jamaican Margarita was a perfect blend with a sweet sugared rim. The Sangria was a full party in the glass with fresh fruit. The Yucca portion was hefty, but we ate it ALL. In hindsight, we should have saved more room for our actual meal. We ordered Lomo Saltado Beef that was so tender and rich, and it was accompanied by another hefty portion of indulgent carbs. See? That's where moderation in our starter would have been wise. Ahh lessons learned. If we had saved half of the Yucca for leftovers it would have reheated in an air fryer beautifully. We also ordered the Escabeche which was a beautifully fried , snapper filet served with sweet potato and rice. The sauce was simple and elegant with that classic tart vinegar bite. We looked at the dessert menu. I repeat, looked. We simply had no more room. We'll be back soon and promise to make it to the dessert menu and coffee.

They were some pretty good finger food and I definitely will be back to try more options. The ambiance was low light and the seating was pretty good too so that youll have a view of the TVs no matter where you sit especially since the World Cup is on. Service was also pretty good and quick.

A restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived. We went inside, but let the server know we were gonna sit outside. Several minutes passed and menus were delivered. It took several more minutes for the server to return and take our order. I have to say the food is worth the price of admission! We ordered enough options so that we could take home leftovers for the next day's lunch. We ordered the chorizo tacos, served, and softshell flour tortillas. They must've been baked slightly because they had a little bit of structure to them. There is ample chorizo in each taco. Delicious! We also ordered an arepa, empanadas, tostones, and yuca fries. Everything was delicious, plated individually, and tasted wonderful. My question the reason we don't visit this restaurant more often. We were glad to visit and we plan to return!

We were met with a smile once we walked in toward the hostess desk and were seated immediately (able to beat the lunch crowd). The restaurant is very spacious (brought back memories of dining there while it was Marie Livingston Steak House). In any case, our server was super attentive, patient, and just very pleasant. We started off with the nachos and queso dip (fresh tasting tortilla chips). The complimentary bread placed on our table was absolutely mouthwatering! For our entrees, we both decided to go with the Taco salad - I had shredded chicken and my friend had ground beef. We both enjoyed our meal! Delish! My friend ordered the Fajitas to go (for her hubby); and I ordered Flan and the churros for dessert (to go). Note, there is also a brunch menu. I will definitely plan to return to sample dinner items as well as making a visit for brunch. Of note, the restaurant was really into the Halloween spirit!

It's a flatter-style bread with some type of garlic butter tucked inside, and it is DIVINE. Definitely worth risking a little appetite space! I had the Baja tacos and modified them by choosing grilled instead of fried--10/10! They were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely hit the spot. For my drink, I ordered the Tropical Dream, a beverage, a libation, if you will, and it was the perfect complement to the meal.
