YUM, and since I have some fellow Lawton Yelpers who love Shaved Ice too, I had to add this place now that I've discovered & tried it!! Warning: It's not like the traditional Hawaiian Style Shaved ice, like I'm use to, this is what they call New Orleans Style Shaved Ice. The best way I could describe it would be it's more like a slushy, it's a very fine ice (like snow). Perfect with it being 95 degrees and climbing, so I was just looking for refreshment!! They have quite a large number of flavors to choose from, including sugar-free. You can also add cream and sour to any of them too. I was surprised at how cheap it was...yes, it is just ice topped with flavored sugar water, but some places charge a lot for that! LOL It's family run, and they weren't overly chatty, but they weren't unfriendly either...I think a little more customer interaction would have been nice, if I had to give one suggestion. Overall, tasty, cheap, refreshing treat on a hot day, especially when you're looking for something on the East side of Lawton & don't want to drive into town.
