Captain Cakes really came through for us at the last minute. We had a rush request on a wedding…read morecake that needed to be half vegan, half traditional cake. It was also my first time ordering a wedding cake to help a friend out remotely so nerves were high. Alex made the process so easy - she made a 2-tiered cake (vegan on top, regular on bottom), made with chocolate ganache, white frosting and the most gorgeous cherry blossom design. She delivered it right on time to the wedding venue and on such short notice too! I can tell she really poured her heart into the tiny details on the cherry blossoms, and the bride and groom both loved the cake! I can't say enough great things about Captain Cakes. Now I need to order another cake soon so I can try her caramel ganache!

I sampled their fruitiest crepe, which comes with a variety of things like Nutella and cream as well. They also had a set of things like pocky sticks for sale, and tea drinks and ice cream which seemed nice. This was not a special diet kind of place and I saw little for the vegan or gluten-free diner. For the rest, there is likely something of interest.
