Great selection of froyo and toppings! Only feedback is how far back you have to reach for some toppings.

The spicy pimento cheese ice cream they served at the festival was surprisingly delicious. They certainly whipped up some magic with that flavor. If they could pull that off I knew their other flavors would be excellent, and spoiler alert, they are! Their Holly Springs location and storefront is quite unassuming. I would not have noticed it if I hadn't seen it on Apple Maps. It is located in a strip near Holly Springs Gas and Grocery (which is really just grocery since there are no gas pumps). Parking is available in several spots right out front and beside adjacent stores. This time we tried buckeye, flan, and mojito. It took a lot of will power for me to not ask to sample every flavor. Usually I would choose a flight, however, I was in the mood for a milkshake. Thankfully I was the only customer in the store and the employees were very patient. Eventually I decided on a pint of flan and a buckeye milkshake. Typically I would have gone with mojito as it had the perfect refreshing summer taste, but wanted something a little more sweet. In addition to ice cream, they offer frozen bananas, ice cream sandwiches, cookies, brownies, rice krispy treats, cakes, and cookie cakes. Prices are comparable to other local ice cream shops. Definitely pricy, but in line with others. A pint was $9 and milkshake without whipped cream was $8. I did appreciate how they subtracted a dollar from the milkshake cost when I asked for no whipped cream. Overall we are fans of their flavors and excited to return to try other options and then check out their sister shop in Apex.

Everyone I've encountered with Mama Bird's has been incredibly warm and pleasant, such a great business!

There were a lot of different flavors including vegan and gluten free options, with lots of different cones. I was really happy to find a coffee flavor, coffee toffee, and I enjoyed it. The toffee had a great flavor but there wasn't too much of it, I was glad because I don't like too much extra stuff in my ice cream. I loved the pictures of kitties all over and the staff was super friendly. I would definitely come back.

As someone with Celiac, it is nice to FINALLY see a gluten free variant of the cookies and cream ice cream! That was already a treat on its own. But that isn't it. They had gluten free Oreo toppings too which I did not get, however, this was a VERY nice surprise to see as a Celiac customer. The employee filled the cup up to the top with this delicious treat. The cookies n cream flavor is amazing, even if you have no allergies. When I asked to sample the m and m explosions and the cookies n cream, the employee was enthusiastic to provide me with the samples. If I can give 6 stars, I would. The atmosphere of the store is nice as well. There are images of cats on the TV screen and they promote adoption of cats. If I come to visit again, this is a go to, I recommend

The space is fairly large and they stay open late (until 11 PM on weekends), making it a great place to hang out with friends or stop by to satisfy a sweet tooth during a night out. I've purchased their macarons as gifts, tried several desserts here and to-go, grabbed coffee and stayed to do work, and even stopped by for lunch. Their light bites are quite tasty, and I especially enjoy their phyllo-dough pastries. Their latte options are great--the flavors are creative yet still approachable, and the syrup options are delicious. Service is attentive and efficient. There's always a big team behind the counter, and instead of calling names, they give you a number and bring food or drinks directly to your table, which is so thoughtful! They can get quite busy at times - lots of families and big groups stop by to hang out. I enjoy the community it brings, though sometimes this is not the most ideal place to get work done. Highly recommend Asali for anyone looking to try creative desserts, a great cup of latte!

Ambiance was just average, lots of people working and studying occupied most tables, service is friendly, the Napoleon seemed to be old with strange texture with no flavor, my husband ordered a cheese cake and said the same thing. It was a huge disappointment and we won't be back, spent almost $40 for two not good slices of cake, a pot of tea, totally not worth it! Food: 1 Service: 4 Ambiance: 3

Until a friend's meetup group scheduled an afternoon "let's have cocktails all afternoon" Friday. Yup, count me in! I got there right at the appointed time, and the early birds were already halfway into their wine. There is a large patio area outside with chairs and tables in small groups. A sunshade and some nicely placed trees help a little There are a few 2- and 4-tops scattered around as you enter. To the left is a large square bar that projects into the room. Behind it is a veritable library of liquors, towering to the ceiling, which is about 9-10 feet high. Seeing the bartender climb up the sliding ladder and fetch a spirit was part of the show. Further to the left are two seating areas with round tables. We had one of these. The Cabernet proved to be the darling of the group (I think we had three bottles and a few extra glasses, but no one was counting! There were eight of us, so don't think we're a bunch of drunks!) I had looked over the menu online and started with the "Up in Flames". It's a Tiki drink, served with a squeezed lime shell garnish that has a sugar cube and some kind of liquor in it. The waiter lights it while still on the tray, and then sprinkles in cinnamon, which sparkles into the drink. He then extinguishes the flame and serves it. It was quite a show and very delicious! If I ever go and sit outside, I'm going to film it! After a bit, we were getting hungry, so food started appearing. The fig & prosciutto flatbread arrived first, (with a single plate and napkin). It was a 12" x 6" flatbread spread with honey, figs, prosciutto, chèvre, and arugula. Another of these came out later. Quite delicious. Someone else had the nachos, which they said were amazing. After asking, the server brought out more plates and napkins. Other cocktails that we tried and enjoyed were the Perro Perdito (Lost Dog) and the Drastic Measures. The Mango-chili shrub in this one packed a bit more heat than the Jalapeño dip! But it was tasty, with the salt/tajin half-rim. After a few hours of fun food and drink and a lot of laughter, we decided to release our hold on the table. The dinner crowd was champing at the bit to take over, and we were pretty sated. Everyone was safe to drive, so we hugged all around and parted ways, well fed and better friends. Thanks, N&S. You may drag me back to Apex again any time!!

The best cookies from Crumbl in my opinion all have one thing in common, they have a thick layer of Crumbl's phenomenal cream cheese frosting on top. This cookie checks that all important box and also takes it up a notch by converting the cream cheese frosting into caramel cream cheese frosting. Not to be overshadowed by the frosting, the body of the cookie is dense, soft, chewy, thick, and buttery. As for the caramel popcorn pieces on top, they tasted fine but are mostly for show. The light drizzle of melted caramel provides an additional touch of flavor. The shop serves it warm, but it tastes just as good chilled in the fridge. Crumbl claims this is a new cookie (maybe they surreptitiously tweaked the recipe?) but the only noticeable difference from the last time I had this cookie is the naming. The full listed name is now Rob's Backstage Caramel Popcorn Cookie ft. The Jonas Brothers. I'm not going to call it that though because I'm a man in my 30's and could not care less for The Jonas Brothers(they also have nothing to do with the cookie, so weird association choice by Crumbl).
