Cool Auto had great reviews and many of them were personally answered by their owner, Cassandra. When I called for more information, sure enough, Cassandra answered the phone and took the time to explain all my options and invited me to see their shop at any time. I found her prices were fair and her shop was full of beautifully detailed cars and professional folks when I visited. I booked an appointment immediately. Over the years, Cassandra and her crew have expanded their offerings, now installing PPF and window tint to go along with their expert paint correction, detailing, and ceramic applications. Over the years, they have handled paint chips, door scratches, water spots and maintained my car's finish perfectly. Their prices are fair and they get the job done right, every time. It's rare these days, but after three years visiting her shop, I trust and believe it when they say they care about their customers' cars and happiness. I've brought the membership, I get my ceramic coating maintained every year, and eventually, I'll replace the original PPF on my bumper at Cool Auto as well. We use my car for the dog, and Pro Detail was able to get the leather in our back seats looking fresh and clean - no paw prints anywhere. You also get the option of having them come to your house and do the detailing in your driveway or by dropping off your car at their location and then picking it up when they are done. They're also flexible about arranging convenient drop-offs and pick-ups if your schedule needs it.

Juan and his team took off the wheels from the car (they have a lift in their gorgeous downtown shop). This allowed them to completely clean the inside from the back, clean the brake calipers, the wheel wells, and barrels of the wheels. This was long overdue on my 5-year-old daily driven SUV. I got that just over the phone. Once there he and an associate came and greeted me at my car. He asked some questions, took my key, and got to it. As he said, he was done within a few hours. I had forgotten to take the stuff out of my car before leaving the house that morning so they had to put everything in my trunk. It was a good amount of stuff so I was thankful he was so gracious about it. I got the full detail which was $175 along with a $25 add on for pet hair. I appreciate him explaining that fee to me as well before hand as well as the tiers for it and what may cause it to go to the next tier, as well as what's involved that requires he add the fee. I made an appointment several days prior and when I arrived a few minute early, I was told the walk in ahead of me would be prioritized and they'd "get to my car when they could". What was quoted as a 3 hour wait quickly turned into 6+. For that amount of time I expected it to be great, however I quickly saw that was wrong. The door windows were not washed, there was a visible reside on the inside windshield that required re-cleaning, the back window and the space below it clearly had not been touched as there was still dust, and there was still dirt in the console and cup holders. I ended up having to clean much of the inside of the car again, and probably should have just done it myself to begin with. Additionally, my car is several years old and I was aware of a few dings on the hood from wear and tear. The pressure washer used however was clearly too strong and chipped off the paint in several spots on the hood where there was any dent. Paint retouch is one of their "specialities" but because they damaged it to begin with I didn't even bother to request a repair because I wouldn't trust them to do it. I'd highly recommend going elsewhere in town for detailing.

After talking with him, I got 70% put on the windshield, back seat windows, rear window. The back seat windows already had the windows color shaded and didn't want them too bad. The front and rear windows I wanted protected from heat but clear as possible. I put 15% on the roof (on size tint he had that would not require a seam). It is a bit dark, but I can still see out. The front seat windows are 35% to comply with Arizona law. Because of the number and size of windows, it took him all day 9:30-6:00. But it looks great. After going over what options were available, I scheduled an appointment to bring it in. They were great about sending info on the product as well as reminders for the appointment. When I arrived to pick up the car, I immediately noticed the difference; it was like it had just rolled off the showroom floor! Davir and his team had not only done a beautiful job applying the ceramic coat but also were able to touch up a few of the minor scratches and rock chips I had in the paint.
