What dentist's office offers you tea from a gorgeous tea set, a cookie after every visit, and all sorts of other goodies and gift certificates to provide family and friends you refer?!? The geniuses at Tavormina Dentistry, that's who! I had an appointment the day before my birthday this year and as I was getting out of the chair to leave I see the entire staff walking towards me with candles in a cake singing me happy birthday!! That is just one of many examples of this office going above and beyond to make sure you feel recognized and appreciated as their patient, which comes through in everything they do! Even more importantly, Dr. Tavormina's work is impeccable. In my experience, impeccable dentistry is usually accompanied by an exceptional ego and poor people skills, but Dr. Vincent Tavormina really breaks the mold here. I have never met a dental surgeon/dentist of his caliber with such exceptional people skills. He took the time to answer all of my questions and hypothesize about a few different options. He listened to every last idea or suggestion I had and then carefully explained the pros and cons to each of them. He is truly the best dentist/dental surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by, and trust me, I have tried several different places. I was one of those people who rarely found myself loyal to one particular practitioner because either the office staff was disorganized, or the dentist didn't want to listen and discuss a course of treatment, or a million other reasons...however I am now a loyal patient of Dr. Vincent Tavormina and his crew, and will never bother with another dentist or dental/surgeon again. I don't often write reviews but I simply cant recommend Tavormina Dentistry enough. We went to see Dr. Mariam upon recommendation from a friend. She is immediately personable, but professional, and knows her stuff. Her setup is state of the art, and she showed me exactly what was going on with my teeth, using a camera. Although I had been at other state of the art dental facilities before, no one had ever bothered to show me what was going on in my mouth with a camera, and explain exactly what was happening in there. I LOVE that she takes the conservative approach. When I told her the work that the other dentist wanted to do, she was surprised. Her feedback confirmed exactly what I had suspected. My boyfriend was told by our previous provider that he needed thousands of dollars worth of dental work. It turns out that is not the case. We both get to keep our dental health stellar AND save money! I like that she listens to you and hears you. She has a way of empowering her patients, which I appreciate. She has a gentle touch, which is BIG plus in our book. I have always hated cleanings, but her technique and style is smooth, thorough, gentle, and quick. Waiting in your car, temperature and blood oxygen check, the dentists and hygenist wearing PPE, a high evacuation suction devises when aerosol droplets would be released. My teeth were scrapped clean rather than using the ultrasonic tool. I felt as secure on that point as I could. Regarding Dr. Benish, he is a highly skilled dentist who has a lovely, efficient and caring staff. He spent a great deal of time explaining what he going to do, and what will happen. He didn't rush when it took quite a long time to get my crown to fit. He is truly I caring and interested in his patients. I recommend him and his office highly.
