I had the chowder to start and my wife had the bisque, I preferred the savory and salty flavor of the chowder. We both enjoyed lobster rolls, because who in their right mind doesn't like a lobster roll. The grits were put together very well and the use of corn nuts brought back some nostalgia of when I was in high school and use to snack on them, who would have thought the crunch would pair so well with the creamy texture of the grits. Lastly, the dessert was a wonderful cake with quite a bit going on that was beyond what I could comprehend BUT my tastebuds enjoyed the ride. Great take on the Old Fashioned for a cocktail and the Burgundy Smash was refreshing! If you are in the mood for something different and you enjoy quality and fresh ingredient, you need to consider eating at this establishment. The service from the staff is warm and welcoming and the ambience of the restaurant is warm and modern.

Mixed berry, blueberry and Oreo. They weren't' really that big of slices for the price. I guess I was expecting a little bigger piece for the price I paid. Oh well.... Pros: They tasted fresh and not to dense or sweet. Very good. The only con is the size.

A couple of us sampled the Messy Lex (a delightful mix of brisket and sausage, swimming in slaw) with a side of cheeseballs. The cheeseballs were good as well, but at $7 for these, when they came out of a bag...that starts to push it a little. I do love cheese though, so it was probably worth it!
