My friend and I happen to stop by Cafe Sweet Surrender as we were exploring the Vesterbro area. As you approach the cafe, you will immediately notice all of the prams parked outside. We didn't know until after we had already entered that this place caters to people with young kids. Luckily, my friend and I don't mind kids so we decided to stay.
Their drink menu has all of the basic cafe staples and a few of the more sweeter variety (White Chocolate Lattes, Chai Lattes, etc). They also serve food and various desserts like lime cheesecake. I had a Chai Latte that was yummy and my friend seemed to enjoy his soup served with rye bread.
The employees were very friendly and patient with us when we wanted to practice ordering in Danish. The cafe itself is nice and spacious. There is plenty of room to let your kids run around and you won't be bumping into the next table when trying to juggle your kid and a diaper bag. The tables were also big and roomy and there were two play areas designated for kids to play in.
This cafe is a great place for young parents or parents with young kids to come to and not have to worry about their kid being too loud/messy/disturb other patrons. It would also probably be a good place to meet up with a large group since it's pretty spacious. I can definitely see myself as a regular here whenever I have kids. read more
