Obsessed with coffee, for one week, my friend and I visited two to three coffee shops while visiting Copenhagen. Prolog Coffee Bar was one of the best. Here's why: 1) Coffee: It's quality coffee and the baristas are experts. They take their time in creating your coffee to ensure quality. They also sell their beans, a must-buy for any coffee lover. My latte was perfect! 2) Space: It's small and simple. There are a few tables outside along the sidewalk and a few tables in the back. The design is blue and white and simple. It works. 3) Location: It's in the meatpacking district near many top restaurants and shops. They also have free wifi.

Excellent cappuccino and lattes here! Not much else to say, try them out! The only thing that was confusing for me as an out of country visitor was that there was no sugar out. Do they ask for sugar inside when they order? Or are the Danish people not fond of putting sugar in their coffee? This is one if the great things about traveling is that you are suddenly this bumbling oaf that doesn't know anything haha. I asked for sugar after and they brought a small bowl of sugar but it was small and didn't look like a normal thing they brought out so I'm still at a loss haha. In any case, go here it's great!!!

Let's talk about a hipster coffee shop... It is no surprise you would find something very unique hidden in the Meatpacking District of Copenhagen. This coffee shop opened recently and it's already a big hit. Probably because you can now grill your own marshmallow, and yes we are not joking. Place is adorable and so is the staff. Everyone spoke English and received us very warmly. I had a cappuccino that was very tasty and had the right amount of milk. They also have a few magazines and other articles for sale. I would love to come back for other cup of coffee here.

Donuts are from bronuts - the coffee here was 8/10 the asthetic and service was 11/10.

Loved it here. My friend and I stumbled across this place and found it so cute. The pour over coffee was 7/10. Cappuccino was a 6/10. Service and asthetic 11/10. There is minimal seating, it's a cozy cute vibe. Would go there again for the ambiance and pour over!

Great little coffee spot. Food options are limited to just a couple pastries, but the cinnamon buns are tasty. Seating is mostly outdoors. They accept cards for payment.

Really really good coffee in the hip Meatpacking district of Copenhagen. The coffee is excellent quality and the staff is very knowledgable about all of the varieties they offer. If you're hungry I recommend eating at a restaurant in the meatpacking district then heading over to Prolog for coffee. Seating inside is limited inside but it's nice to get coffee to-go and walk around the area.

Fantastic little espresso/coffee bar. Great service and exceptional coffee craft. The pastries are top notch and the small street side vibe is unique. Worthwhile stop.

Good coffee and knowledgeable staff. Very tight space, but still a nice, warm atmosphere for hanging out and reading a book.

This shop was super close to our Zleep hotel right around the corner. They have a sign that says early bird special and caught my wife's eye that says get a croissant with a purchase of a coffee for only 5 DKK. She mistakenly read it as coffee and croissant for 5DKK but we realize we read the sign wrong or it would be too good to be true haha. It's ok. We went the next morning at 8:45am on a Saturday and this early bird special is only available for one hour from 8:30-9:30 Saturday Sunday or 7:30-8:30 Mon-Fri. Nice coffee shop. Barista was super nice. This place takes credit cards no problem. They have a few selection of pastries. We really like the croissants because they were super hot and fresh. Just baked right out of the oven with a nice fluffy bite into it. If your looking for super fancy latte art, not sure if this place is good at that. They do have a good interior seating and a nice section of outdoor seating as well. A coffee and a croissant came out to be around $5.75 USD for the early bird special is not too bad compared to NYC prices.

The woman working inside spoke perfect English and made me an excellent oat milk latte with perfect foam (hard to do with oat milk). I also ordered the simple breakfast that had a nice, fairly dense biscuit and a homemade jam and butter as well as some great Swiss cheese. Finally, although vegan, the woman working here made me an absolutely PERFECT boiled egg, in my opinion. Wonderfully creamy on the inside, but not runny, and a perfectly cooked white. Bravo! Stop in for a coffee or pastry, you won't regret it.

Absolutely no regrets as this was definitely the best breakfast I had during my trip to Copenhagen. This quaint coffee shop was filled with good vibes and extremely unique decor. Seriously! It had tools on the walls, a motorcycle, and it just overall felt warm and inviting. Most of the patrons (minus of me of course) were locals and I could tell this was also their go-to spot. There was only one employee there at the time, but he was super patient and super chill. There's honestly no other way I can accurately depict his energy! I ordered a breakfast plate that came with a freshly baked roll, cheese, jam, butter and an egg (cooked in a way of your choosing) and it also came with coffee (however you liked it as well)! I opted for a soft-boiled egg and an oat milk latte. First off, the roll was SO soft and delicious. The oat milk latte was super creamy and didn't have any remnants of "burnt coffee" taste. It was perfection. Also, I must mention that the egg was cooked perfectly! Getting a well-cooked soft-boiled egg can often be a challenge but he was able to achieve at Petrol! All in all, I really enjoyed my visit to Petrol. It was the cherry on top to my trip and it helped start my final day in the city to a great start. Definitely would return during a future visit to Copenhagen. Thanks so much, Petrol! You're truly a gem.

We arrived at 1 PM on Friday and they were already sold out of the roasted pork. We ended up ordering the Chicken/Bacon/Avocado sandwich and the Chicken/Chili/Cheese sandwich and then debated on whether to get the berry smoothie (but some folks sitting nearby eating sold us on how great the smoothie was -- and they were right!). The sandwiches had good flavor and we ended up splitting each one -- which gave us some variety for our lunch. There isn't a lot of seating available here, so if your hotel is within walking distance here, I'd recommend taking it to go and then eating in the hotel lobby/courtyard. That's what my wife and I ended up doing.
