Don't you hate when you can't tell if it's a date or not? Hehe Anywho, Joann dyed my hair to cover up the grays and it looks perfectly natural which is exactly that I wanted! I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair normally only getting it cut once a year or so (laziness, I know!) and then getting it styled once a year for a Mardi Gras Ball. Joann also gave me an amazing haircut as well! I looked so cute that I decided to take myself out on a date! Ladies, you know what I'm saying when you're feeling your hair! Hehe In addition, Joann helped me with my thinning hair by recommending the Regenesis serum which I swear by now! I tried the foam first but I really like the serum now. Then I confided that I wanted longer eyelashes and Joann recommended this awesome eyelash stuff l, Revitalash (tip put it on your eyelashes like mascara, not on your lash line like the instructions say!) that lengthened my eyelashes! She even turned me on to this amazing mascara that makes my eyelashes look super long! So long that I can't use it when i wear my glasses bc it will hit my glasses! She was very nice to chat with and had positive energy. A true professional, got right down to business and was very fast. My parts are all equal length apart. The cornrows are flat and smooth. She is light handed and gentle with the sectioning and comb through. I'm so glad I dropped in. I have found a place for braids.

My friend had Kelly, and I had Caroline. I can not say enough good things about them. Both were attentive and gave us exactly what we wanted, with suggestions to make my style just a little better. I asked for secure but comfortable and Caroline absolutely delivered! No pins jabbing in my scalp, hair pulling or any discomfort at all, and my style was beautiful and lasted 6 hours before my ceremony and all night after. My appointment was with Caroline! All the reviews were about her so I was looking forward to a great stylist. But when I tell you I got way way way more than I bargained for. She was an absolute angel. She was so perfect in every single way. So sweet and kind and never once did she complain. I knew my hair was going to take a while to correct but she just right on in and got it done. She had an amazing girl on her side named Ashley helping her along the process. Caroline went above and beyond to make sure I walked out with the biggest smile on my face. She only wanted to please me. I have never had such an amazing salon experience. I should have taken her at her word and listened when she said she hadn't done one in years, but I had paid a nonrefundable $150 deposit. I could tell by the braid down that it was going poorly, but still trusted that someone charging almost twice the going rate for sew-ins knew what they were doing. I left the shop with a very lumpy hairdo with nonsensical layering (a block to my shoulders in the front but to my butt in the back), a tangle in the middle (a technique she said would make tracks invisible, but still installed a track above it that IS visible, a technique a second stylist I had look at it cannot understand), and visible tracks that have gotten worse over a two-week span. The only thing that saved it is the quality of the hair I brought with me. I normally would not have left a review if I didn't love the service, but I do not want somebody else to make the same $300 mistake.

I would always much rather go to someone who has a passion for hair care versus someone who will lie and damage your hair further.
