One bag per type (organic, sugar-free, vegan, etc.). Pretty easy. You'll probably get sucked in just by looking in the window. So many colors! So many choices! When you leave, you might feel like you just left a festival with your cone of colorful candies. Feel proud that as an adult you get to choose which ever candies you want!

I want to be able to get some cash at the store where I'm already purchasing something but sadly van Delft is one of the few businesses left who are not willing to accommodate customers' cash requests even though they accept both cash and cards so it shouldn't be a problem for them at all. We were there just after Christmas, so a lot of the shop had been cleaned out. No matter, there were still plenty of chocolates left. The owner offered us a small piece to try, and we bought a bunch more. Do not sleep on Dutch chocolate. This was super, and better than some of the chocolate we had from pricey shops in Belgium. I highly recommend, and I would absolutely return. Especially for the hazelnut filled darks. Just glorious.

I…read morewon't go into the details but in short there was a mistake made at the patisserie and the length the owner went to correct it was very admirable and UNHEARD of in Amsterdam. Good customer service is a commodity in this town so I had to look into this place... As a result of the mistake and the story of it's correction, I'd consider myself now to be a Tout regular. I buy the macaroons as gifts for people, I use them to impress my bosses and let's be honest, I cheekily gift them to myself as well. :) I also took part in the macaroon workshop which was great! My only complaint here was that we weren't able to do everything ourselves but due to the nature of macaroons, it would need to be a pretty long workshop (try 3 days!). The price of the workshop might seem steep (I think 60 euros) but I came out of there with almost 2 full boxes of mini macaroons so it's totally worth it if you ask me - not to mention the afternoon of educational fun and the owner is his own brand of eye-candy... :P

There's the usual Holland cheeses, jams, candies, cookies and meats...I really like the choices you get when it comes to packaging and the cookies. Their tins are nice and their cheeses are pretty yummy too. If you have a Minicard of the place, and present it at the store, they will give you a free stroopwafel!
