In 5 years of nearly full-time van life, we have never experienced such rudeness. Glad you showed your true colors. A business to AVOID!!! Wow!! A reply. And not an apology. For example, "I'm sorry I reacted so swiftly. I should have popped in to my place of business first and learned from my staff that you two (only) folks in the parking lot are actually customers." Instead, "Heading off problems, as we had set up camp." Set up camp? Ya, we put our dog out with food and water on a rope. We saw your numerous "no dogs in store" signs. And setting up camp from 9:15-9-39 AM? Come on. Just not a good, customer first business man. Many times in various states around the country, bike/ski shops have even asked us if we would like to, "fill up our water? Or please, take your time. Need any tools? Want some MTB trail recommendations?" Not expected, but good business and really nice. Especially on a Monday morning when we are the only customers you had. You, as a business owner, represent your tourist dependent community. Your choice as to how you do so. My choice to frequent or not, recommend or not.

They recommended some Dynastar Cham 97's for his wife that she loved in the powder. The demo rates were cheap. They provide an indoor area to boot up and leave your shoes. ...and the parking is free for customers right across the street from one of the resort shuttle stops. Without being asked, the owner reserved a new pair of K2 Richter 186mm for us to try during the week. They became the preferred high speed bombers for my friend. On top of all of that, the owner and his staff treated us daily with genuine western hospitality!

I presented both the receipt and original tagging with the return, the denial was based on me having worn the shorts. Unbelievably inadequate for a outdoors outfitters. It is unreasonable to expect that a decision can be made on outdoor gear without walking in it for any duration outside. Find a store that cares if your gear works for you, anywhere but here!

I waited and waited and was never assisted in the shoe area as I needed assistance. I picked a pair of shoes without assistance (there were two associated helping people but they kept skipping me and helping others who showed up after me). I went to the register and the girl at the register was short, and rude. If I didn't absolutely need something for my feet I would have not bought the shoes I found here and would have waited but unfortunately I was stuck shopping here. Worst REI experience ever.
