I know there isn't many ice cream places around, but even if there was Willy's would top the list…read more Willy's ice cream is the best. I'm a fan of soft serve ice cream, and the combination of desserts that Willy's offers are amazing. I've tried many different items from Willy's and I have never been disappointed. I am a milkshake fan so that's usually my go-to at any ice cream place. Willy's has a great milkshake. Blended perfectly. Simple and filling, but not overloaded. The prices aren't bad either. Also, if you're a fan of chocolate and peanut butter then try their "peanut butter lovers parfait" with chocolate ice cream. That's usually the item I go for if I don't get a milkshake. They also have a flavor of the week, which they change every Monday. Not in this order, but the flavors are: Strawberry, blueberry, black raspberry, black cherry, lemon, orange, coffee, banana(which is new), and maple(there beginning and ending flavor). They're all great! It's fun to blend some of them with other flavors as well. It's great place to sit around at any time of the day and enjoy a nice cold treat. They do get busy, and they don't have a drive-thru so be prepared to stand for a little bit if they are busy. The staff is really friendly and do their best to get things out efficiently, though. It's unfortunate that their only open for 7 months out the year. I would grab some Willy's ice cream throughout the whole year. Something to look forward to after they close up. I would absolutely recommend Willy's Ice Cream.

Note: While we waited we were able to review their menu option of items which were listed on the board beside the window where orders are placed. I got the Cookie Monster and my hubs got the Oreo blizzard. We sat at one of the nearby picnic tables under the trees in the shade and enjoyed the tasty treats. Overall I'd recommend this local staple.

It has less selection (is that a bad…read morething, when we are just trying to get our kids to make a decision?), but it is straightforward. $5, $6, and $7- and all the toppings you want, as long as you can "close the lid". There are at least 40 things you can put on on your yogurt, and at least 15 different flavors. You're not getting charged by weight- thus, the five stars. It's clean, local, and awesome. You should come here.

Second time, there is labels but some not accurate. The younger guy working knew exactly what it was and told me. I do wish they didn't combine white and milk chocolate chips. White chocolate is gross. The place appeared decently clean. The vanilla fro was chunky. The napkins are like sandpaper and non absorbent. Doesn't mesh well with fast melting froyo. The woman working was rather rude. Started yelling because my son licked the inside of the lid bc it was dripping ice cream before we paid. Understood the issue, but she handled it very inappropriately. She Kept calling my son a girl. Then when were about to leave 2 customers come in with a live snake around her neck and go to buy ice cream. The same woman who almost crapped a brick with a bell on it came out from behind the counter and held the snake for a little before returning it to the customer. Snakes, wild and captive, can carry things like salmonella. Seems pretty inappropriate to me considering they do serve food and drink at this establishment. The guy was very friendly, the woman needs to take some customer service classes about how to handle situations and how to speak to people. Also, the no trespassing sign is very inviting.

The blackberry is my favorite, but also loved the pumpkin flavor in the fall. One of my favorite places to visit! I had just driven by the farm with their giant "pick your own strawberries" sign, and decided to do this in between wine/beer tastings along Nelson 151. *Pick your own strawberries for $3.49 a pound. Apparently you can bring your own container for picking, but they do provide white buckets. *I picked strawberries from Patch #1 which faces the road, but there's more patches in the back, which I wish I'd checked out, because I suspect a lot of people go to Patch #1. So I'd encourage you to be aware of Patches #2-6. *There are portapotties and an outdoor sink set up with soap and paper towels. *They have a small market with some McCutcheon products, strawberries for sale, asparagus, and ice cream in pints. I had a cup of their delicious strawberry ice cream afterward. There are picnic tables scattered under tents where you can enjoy your ice cream (much appreciated shade after strawberry picking under the hot sun).

1950's type place restaurant/diner. A modern retro jukebox plays constant 1950's rock and roll…read more Ate there once in 1984, over forty years ago. Much of the 1950's decor has not changed. This place started around 1952. The order was given from a touch tone phone at the table to the front counter. We thought tnat some of the younger customers would not know how to use a dial telephone. Drive through service is also available, as it has been since the 1950's. Ordered a burger basket (burger and fries) $8., a chicken tender basket (five chicken tenders with fries) $11.50, onion rings, chocolate malted milkshake, chocolate ice cream dish, We got the food in about fifteen minutes brought to our table. Very reasonable. The 2 oz burger that I received was worst of all the items that I had. It was tasteless and reminded me of a smalll burger at Burger King. 1.5 stars. do not recommend it. We hope that the recipe for the burger would be improved. The crinkle cut French fries were average 3 to 3.5 stars and not plentiful. Could have used more. The onion rings were one of the two great items that we had. They were very good in every way. 4 plus stars. My mallted milk shake was good and the price was reasonable. It was appropriate for a 1950's restaurant. 4 stars. The chicken tenders were large had good taste. 4 stars. Rolls came with the chicken tenders. They were soft and had good taste. 4 stars. The chocolate ice cream, along with the onion rings was the standout best item that we had. 5 stars for the chocolate ice cream. It was creamy with a deep chocolate flavor and the ingredients in it were quality ingredients. Loved it. We enjoyed the good music with the meal. Everyone who worked there was very nice to us, including the manager. We will love to dine there again and hope that it can be soon. Thank you for the nice 1950's style food.
