I know that sounds hokey, but a small company puts their heart and soul into their products ! Look at Ben &Jerry's , I had the vanilla flavor last night , and it was AWFUL !!! I have had that ice cream since it was "born" and when it was sold to that conglomerate company , the quality has gone from best to worst . The ice cream last night tasted like ice milk , not ice cream. I can't wait to find Kingdom Creamery ice cream , and when we are released to travel , we are certainly headed to East Hardwick for LOTS of ice cream ! I never order burgers at restaurants due to fear of poor quality meat and poor cooking. I devoured that burger! By far better than a "Big Mac" but tasted just like mac sauce on a juicy, perfectly cooked local beef burger, with a suitable bun! I also subbed the fries for fried green beans. Delicious and perfectly breaded and cooked. Not hard and not mushy. I got both items for under $12. They are also one of the only restaurants open on Mondays in our local area. Inside the building, we found a display of vegetables fridgerated, local beers and wines, and produce such as tomatoes, onions, and potatoes. We also found that they served local VT ice cream.
