Jellybeans is a fun store for finding gifts and unique items for small people. It's a boutique, which means that many of the items that Jellybeans carries are on the higher end of the spending spectrum. But again, this is where you go to get something special for the little people in your life. You'll get an excellent customer service experience as well, as the staff has always been very helpful and friendly when I've been in. My last visit was to pick up a gift for my son's seventh birthday. I got him a spooner board, which is basically a cross between a surf board and a skateboard (with no wheels). It's kind of big and weirdly shaped, but when I mentioned that it was for a gift, the gal at the register offered to put a big bow on it. The bow meant that I didn't have to attempt wrapping the thing, and my son thought it was cool that there was a little bag of jellybeans on the bow. The Spooner Board was a huge hit - you should definitely check it out if you have an adventurous kiddo. Overall, you can count on Jellybeans for adorable clothes, interesting toys, and the latest in baby couture. The store also connects to STAXX, a women's clothing boutique next door that is owned by the same person.

After two days I did not get a response, so I called the number listed on the website during business hours on 9/7/12. There was no answer, so I left a voicemail. In addition, on 9/8/12 I sent another e-mail expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting that I be contacted asap. On 9/10/12, I had still not heard back from the company so I attempted to call again during business hours. Again, there was no answer and I was forced to leave another voicemail. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. At first, I thought that this company may just have poor customer service, but I am beginning to think that it is not even a legitimate business. I finally got in touch with her (happened to answer the phone when I called from another number), she apologized and we decided to go ahead and credit the account at this point and send me a receipt of credit to confirm. It has now been over two weeks with no credit to my account, no receipt, & I cannot get a return call or email. It's been over a month with no bedding and no money back. Pretty bad business. Checked out the BBB and saw several similar complaints.

When I went to pick it up, the lady plugged it in to show me how it worked etc. It wasn't swinging very fast and she acted a little concerned (she said something like "well it's not swinging very fast right now I think because there's nothing in it").. and assured me that she stands behind everything she sells and would issue me a full refund if the swing stopped working, as long as it wasn't anything crazy like 6 months or something after I got it. Well, lo and behold, two weeks after I bought it, my mother in law was watching my baby for us while we were out of town and she called to tell us it wasn't working. When we got back, I got it to work for a couple hours and then it stopped again. I've tried everything, but it's shot. So finally, remembering what Sally had told me, I reached out to her on Facebook and apologized for the inconvenience and respectfully asked for a refund. She told me that her policy is "all sales final" and that there are NO refunds. She told me too much time has passed. 1 month?! I'm so frustrated. No to mention she has now blocked me from messaging her back. I went to the store's Facebook page to leave a review, and conveniently, there isn't an option. Pretty sketchy for a business to opt out of having reviews listed on their page. So, I went to google to leave one and found several other negative reviews about this store. Anyways, I understand it's a used item and you can't make any guarantees, but don't lie to me. Maybe set an actual policy in place to avoid any confusion would be my recommendation.
