Their empanadas with cream or pineapple are my favorite, but their cochitos are a family favorite. Honestly all of their bread is excellent! I've only had about one bad batch of bread in the twenty years we've bought bread here; the bread was kind of hard, but it's usually nice and soft so it didn't bother me enough to complain. Going against them from the get go is that the place is DIRTY. There were several flies circling in the middle of the store, the tables were sticky and the floor was full of crud. The showcase windows were smeary and greasy and the majority of the Mexican breads were covered in plastic which tells me a couple of things. The flies are an issue and the breads are not freshly made...at least not every day. Pretty to look at but stale as hell. I did order the 3 taco special and the woman who took my order, cooked my food and then THREW it at me when it was done, never even looked at me because she was scolding her young teenage daughter for some imagined offense. I should have said something but at that point didn't give a crap...btw, the food was decent...what a shame.
