Shelves and shelves of biscuits (cookies), sauces, gravies (Bisto, oxo etc), proper English self-raising flour, cream crackers, oh yes and tea!!! Any kind of British tea you could wish for! They're also online with a great selection of products but at least once in a while an in person visit is a must! Hidden away by the Wilton train station alongside a couple of cute locally owned stores and the Schoolhouse Inn restaurant, it's a cosy spot to visit!

Those shops have a lot of toys, but I also find them to be overwhelming. In contrast, Wild Child has a highly curated and diverse selection of toys including some toys I've never seen and some from top brands. They have every category covered - we saw cute little books, Tonies, dolls, doll strollers, arts and crafts projects, beaded jewelry, balls, cars, a wooden trike, a variety of Montessori-friendly wooden toys, and so much more. Wild Child would be great for birthday gifts or your own children. There's something for all ages. The shop owner is very knowledgable and can help you find the perfect toy! Prices are very reasonable. It's definitely worth visiting, except on Mondays when they're closed. We're so happy to have this great toy store in the heart of Wilton right by Scoops ice cream. The location is perfect. We can't wait to see what treasures we'll find here in the future.

Shakespeare once penned "to thine own self be true." i would pen this as "keep thine own manure to thyself." have been going here for years BECAUSE ITS UNUSUAL.BECAUSE ITS HIGH END. yet nature called this time. when i asked about a restroom they pointed me to the back where the porta potties are. the first one i opened was simply a predessor of what was to come. the other two left me w an impossible choice. i was trying not to dry heave entering the chosen one which was a slim comparison of the lesser of the other 2 evils. by the time i got to the front entrance where the car was parked i was bent over the car holding onto dear life with persistant vomiting onto the gravel. i felt so pretty. my friends would not go to lunch as planned as their description of my dryheaving in the car & my green face did not lend itself to eating. to not describe these portolets is not spareing you dear reader, but myself from the visuals that would prompt unyielding dryheaving every. single. time. that i think about this.my problem with this: i have a pretty strong stomach. my dad in the medical field would come home for dinner & while we were eating could easily talk about such subjects as pus. im no stranger when it comes to intestinal fortitude. these portolets were otherwordly disgusting, which to me were a complete insult to their customers who are spending small fortunes. i have never left there spending less than $300.00. and I'm on a pretty tight budget but I plan & save to come here. and most of their customers did not fall off the turnip truck or are backwoods farmers looking for something "purdy." show some respect to your customers. you want me to spend $250. 00 on some little garden ornament then clean up your act. make sure you use a real bathroom before coming here. Two workers were engrossed in conversation about a party and I had to interrupt to ask a jewelry question. Two other shoppers came in and weren't greeted either. Yet, a friend of theirs walked in and there were squeals and hugs galore. I am all for employing energetic, fun youngsters, but not at the expense of making my customers feel unwelcome. I headed to Westport to The Post and bought everything I needed there. (And had lovely interaction with the staff!) Some cute items in store, but not worth feeling like I'm annoying or interrupting people when trying to make a purchase.

Next time I'd appreciate it if you'd go to CVS. They don't care if they lose money." Okay, Ed, we will go to CVS to fill our prescriptions from now on. Bye-bye Bissell.
