There was food, crafts, flowers, more food, hot beverages, more food. And oh yeah more food. I really love the musical entertainment as it was a unique sound. The farmers market was long enough to walk and eat without feeling guilty. We got some lumpias which were the best I've had in Washington. I got some tamales and Sushi which were a hit. We even got some teas to keep us warm. If you are in in downtown lasko during Saturday mornings, this is definitely a great place to do some shopping.

Safe to say I've been to quite a few in my time on this Earth. This is the best one. Seriously. I've never been to a better one. The quality of the vendors was top-notch - from the produce, hand made products, and food vendors, to the live entertainment. The whole thing was so well put together. I would honestly make a special trip just to go here for the day. Specifically, two booths to mention. One, Brush Creek Creamery makes incredibly smooth and delicious cheese - not too salty, but packed with flavor. Second, the Swedish bakery booth! What beautiful pastries, also packed with flavor. Not pictured, the countless produce booths were amazing, offering samples of absolutely delicious produce of all kinds.

My husband enjoyed learning about local agriculture history from Joe so we were sad to find out he very recently passed away. Our first ranch visit was on a super hot day so we just chatted with Joe and bought a jug of cider. It was much cooler the second time (a few years later) so we ended up picking some cherries. I do enjoy eating berries straight from the tree (or bush, depending on the berry) and hanging out on farms, but I think pre-picked berries might be more appropriate for me. That or paying for a bag but trying to get my fill of berries on-site and not worrying about filling the bag for home.

This year it cost $5 a person which was $20 for my group. $20 to go through a small hay maze, climb on a bale of hay and go down a slide is not worth $20. Previous years they have had a corn maze, a petting zoo, horse rides and tons of other animals for the kids to enjoy not this time. The pumpkin patch was much smaller than before. We did find some pumpkins at 50cents a pound yikes! No venders this time, no food sections and sparse pickings in the gift shop. $65.00 with entrance and pumpkins so disappointing-

I am very thankful for this tiny farmers market…read more It's always easy to find parking and thankfully not crowded. The vendors are friendly and we always find at least one item to buy. A few of my favorite things: + Cider and fruit from Wilson Banner Ranch (local) + Flavored caviar from Two If By SeaFoods (from Bristol Bay, AK) + Wine from the visitor center. They normally close at 5pm but I recently learned they stay open until 6:30 on market days.

Then hit the bakery area for the local loaves. Scored the last loaf of cranberry walnut bread. The also had Santa Cruz 32oz bottles of lemonade, 4 bottles for $9.00!! These run $3.99 each at Yoke's! Even if I don't buy much, I love wandering around the store. Staff are very friendly & helpful too!

Oh, but THIS store! It's wonderful. It's all about the local food scene, and quality. The cupcakes in the bakery case are made there, and the pretty frosting designs were naturally colored. They bake their own breads. The deli line was led wonderful, there's a coffee stand, and the smoothies are made to order with real fruit, no mixes. The prepared foods case was also well stocked and generous with variety...I was able to find a delicious snack for the afternoon. The produce section is colorful and impressive...they even have Buddha's hand! This has an upscale Whole Foods vibe (pre Amazon ownership), and Moscow is lucky to have it. Adding a few words to hopefully trigger this in searches for vegan, organic, lunch and dinner, since it didn't come up in a search for those topics for me. I "discovered" the co op just driving by.

They have a good variety to choose from, including candy bins where you scoop into a bag and pay by weight. Many (perhaps most?) of the candies are produced in the area (Spokane and Idaho, for example). The owner is very friendly and helpful. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll love this candy shop. And if you don't have a sweet tooth, this shop might help you develop one!
