They have better employees at the Angel and are a bit over priced. I bought a bag of candy and a bar of soap it was $21 and some change. They seem to be picking up the slack for their failing bbq business next door. I've reached out to the owners of the bbq spot before about the employe they had that felt it was appropriate to be disrespectful to my 3 year old. I almost lost my cool with him. Fat goofy ass older white guy. Not the really old white guy he's always been pretty cool. I haven't stopped for the bbq in over a year. I used to stop by here 4 times a month.

I was acknowledged immediately, and was asked for patience as they met the drive-thru needs. After that rush, the owner and the young girl behind the counter engaged in conversation with me as I asked them about their shop: good to know that this is the only place with real coffee drinks on the stretch of road between Victoria and La Grange: the owner said she even has folks come from as far away as Shiner & Cuero. I ordered some brown sugar latte drink, and it was very good; I also got an everything bagel with melted pepperjack cheese and turkey, also tasty. I don't get down to Victoria often, but I'll make sure I hit this place on the way down, or on the way back up to DFW. Well worth the stop.
