We solely communicated through email. Though 8Bit might be on the pricer side of the photobooth market, I think it was worth every penny! Our guests had a lot of good things to say, experiencing the photobooth from the translucent print and the culturally inclusive props such as boba, baos, rice cooker and more! I loved how we were able to personalize our photobooth experiences for our guests, especially creating our own design with our names to match the theme of our wedding. We did get a free upgrade to the Glam-Air photo booth, which was super nice of Michael to do! With the Glam-Air, it included an interactive digital mirror for guests to check themselves out before getting their photo taken that we wished our guests used! But due to our venue being outside at night and the line formation our guest didn't get to interact with it All in all, I would highly recommend 8BitPhotobooth for your next event! He also said that if I wanted something cheap, I should go to an American store. I explained that I wasn't trying to negotiate or argue--I simply wanted to know the price before making a decision. Despite that, he continued speaking to me in a very disrespectful tone and raised his voice. At that point, I ended the call. I was genuinely surprised by how unprofessional and disrespectful the customer service was. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this business.

Instead of relying on everyone's pictures or making sure I took as many pictures as possible I wanted to hire a photobooth company. The girl over the phone (sorry I forgot your name!) was sooo sweet! I had to move our conversation over to text due to said soon to be 1 year old and she was extremely understanding. She answered all my questions and assured me I had nothing to worry about. She asked me if we had any themes and a copy of the invitation so she can get an idea of the aesthetic we were going for. I sent her the invitation along with a brief description and a few hours later I had sample frames to choose from for our pictures. Day of the event she arrived on time, announced herself, asked where I would like her to be set up and got right to it. By the time I came back around to see if she needed anything she was completely set up and taking some test pictures to make sure everything was working accordingly. She had the props nicely displayed, table cover was clean and wires out of the way to ensure no one was going to trip over them. Throughout the event she was making small talk with guest, handing them props and just making the Photo Booth an experience. She communicated when it was close to her time to go, so guests could get their last pictures in and when it was time to go she packed up and left the area exactly how she found it. (This was such a nice treat, last thing I want is more things to clean up ) I have saved her number and will be calling OC party lens for all of our upcoming gatherings! Thank you again!!
