From a former employee Kathi and Molly are extremely unprofessional and unorganized. They tell their clients that the Employees will be at their homes around certain times and we don't get there on time or the time the client was expecting. Kathi and Molly don't inform the client if they are moving their time that day or if we will be late. Clients get really upset about that. Sweeping beauty claims they use the best products out there...haha that is a bunch of bulls***. They use cheap products. Products: Fabuloso Dish soap and water WD40 Zep Their website says: "outstanding customer service and 100% satisfaction.  With years of quality service and award winning recognition our name has come to represent consistency, reliability and affordability." From all the negative reviews I have read on yelp, Facebook and glass door from previous clients and employees that is also a bunch of BS. I was out sick 2 days and brought them a doctors note from my doctor they gave me a write-up for the absences. I asked them if they didn't accept doctors notes? They said they did accept them but they aren't excused. Then you don't accept doctors notes...just because you take something from someones hand doesn't mean the company accepts them. Idiot. They did not give me a handbook or information regarding the companies polices until a month into the job after they wrote me up. Today they fired me because I called out because I had a family emergency. They are very inconsiderate people. They never fully stock the vans for us to have the equipment we need to clean homes. The company also is very unsafe for workers and in clients homes. They have the vaccum cleaners plugged into a dollar store extention cord that sparks. This is a fire hazard. Their company vehicles are falling apart and the check engine light is always on. I brought these things to their attention they just have excuses and don't actually fix the problem or do anything to better their equipment. I would give them a zero if I could. I paid for a deep cleaning, and they didn't even dust! They didnt wipe down my kitchen counters. They did not clean the baseboards. All of this was negotiated ahead of time but not done. The only thing it seemed they did was vacuum, and they didn't even vacuum inside the bathroom! I could not be more disgusted by this company. The owner was so rude about it, too! I sent pictures and video of me swiping the dist and grime onto my hand and she refused to even give me a partial refund. she wanted to send the 2 cleaners back to my house. Owner ghosted me! Deep clean was $275.00 which was supposed to include blinds and baseboards. These things were not done. I sent the owner pictures and she completely ghosted me. I left several very nice messages asking to just go over the expectations of the deep clean. Kathi did not respond and never returned any texts of voice mails. Initially this company was very responsive and juggled the schedule to accommodate my emergency. They (Kathy) came and looked at the house that I was going to move into. The house was completely empty. I was told it was going to take four hours for a deep clean and charged for that 4 hour deep clean. They came bright and early the next morning and I was surprised that they were gone in 2 hours. They text me and said they were done. They left quickly before I even had a chance to come to the house a minute away. It is important to note that I was told I had to pay them in full in advance - which I did. They did A VERY poor job! They did a fraction of what they were actually supposed to clean. They never did the tubs, they did half of the large bathroom, half of the cabinets. All of the inside of the cabinets were supposed to be wiped down including the trashcan bin holder in the kitchen which was never touched. They wiped down only some of the insides of the cabinets. I texted them immediately and they did not respond. I texted them again and they still didn't respond. I then texted Kathy with whom I did the contract and she ignored me. I then called her later and we got "disconnected," however when I called her back there was no answer. EVER. I left a voicemail and texts delineating everything that wasn't done. So they did half the job, stole my money and ditched all contact. I now have to clean all the stuff they didn't clean including scrubbing the tubs and the sinks. What kind of company comes in, does half the job and then ditches the customer??? They came in, charged me, did a fraction of what they were supposed to do, split quickly and then never made any contact with me again, ignoring texts and phone calls. So, a few weeks ago a single person (instead of the usual crew or 2 or 3) showed up to clean my house, but didn't stay any longer than when a full crew did the cleaning. We quickly realized that our basement had not been touched, the stairs were either not vacuumed or done very poorly (and we have a bunch of long-haired cats, so that is critical) and the kitchen counters had not been touched. We are not messy people, but one person cannot clean a house this size in less than two hours--if they could, I would be doing it myself. I asked to have someone come back and finish the job, and instead was offered a partial refund and essentially told that I was lying ("the person is very honest and hardworking and she said she cleaned the whole house"--well, why would I complain if that was the case?). I got no refund, no return to finish (so I had to spend the day before leaving on an international business trip cleaning my house so it wouldn't be messy until the next visit) and a month later a complete no show on our next scheduled date as well as no response to the texts that I sent. So, if you have the audacity to complain, it won't do any good and you will be ghosted. Unreliable, and highly unprofessional. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

All the previous reviews speak for them selves. Even after such a low rating we decided to support a local small business but it was not worthy it. Unprofessional service and people. They dont stick by their contract. They never answer calls or get back based on voicemails. They definitely dont belong in a cleaning business. Do not hire these people for home cleaning for sure. We were never asked to crate the dogs and even the morning of the day they just left our house without finishing I spoke to the cleaning crew inviting them to let me know if the dogs demonstrate any sign of being territorial in any way. At which point we would immediately correct the action or crate them. It was simply our attempt to communicate and continue training the dogs that they are subservient to all humans. If there was a request to crate we would have gladly done so. In addition, the owner would not return any of my 10 messages left for her including speaking to her employee 5 times live with no acknowledgement of over charging our credit card. That's right! Sweeping beauty overcharged our card for two full cleanings. One of which was the day they just left. Don't trust this company. Especially with your credit card number. The owner does not seem concerned when we brought up our issues. She wanted to charge us more to do a better job. Not professional and should not be in the service industry. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Deserves no stars based on customer service. Just to be clear, I did not ask for additional services without paying for them, just wanted what was quoted in my original contract. I had been using this company for 4 or 5 months, and was relatively satisfied. My last cleaning was a couple weeks ago, and we weren't home while the crew was here. When we got home, I noticed a couple items overlooked (toilet skipped, crumbs on coffee table, etc) - so I called them thinking they would rectify the situation. I've been calling nearly ever business day since the issue - NO CALL BACK. I've called the owners cell phone, NO CALL BACK. I've emailed... you get it. Yes, good communication is essential between your clients and as a matter of fact, I did address all of my concerns with your staff who mentioned that they did not have the proper equipment to do their jobs thoroughly like something as simple as vacuuming under the beds which you initially told me was part of your service. In the future, I would suggest calling your clients to find out what the issues are as soon as you hear you have any problems, as we texted you and you sent no response or phone call back. I used this service for a few months. I was not satisfied with their cleaning but stuck with them hoping it would get better. I was wrong, it got worse. On one particular occasion, they did not dust under beds, dust frames, pick up books to dust underneath and even forgot to vacuum a few rugs! What was worse was that when I called to complain I was promised a free cleaning to correct there errors. Based on your photograph you look like the woman who came out to talk with me to provide me with an estimate. Are you claiming that I am lying? I hope not because I have a contract to prove you were hired by me as well as a cancelled check. I also have other solid evidence of your workers in the building. Yes, you do guarantee your work, and that is commendable, but it was deemed a major disruption to have your workers in the home/office again. The office needed a cleaning service who does the job the right, the first time and every time because having vacuums running and maids walking around, one of whom sang loudly as she cleaned, is a major disruption. None of the cleanings were done well. Hence all would have had to be repeated, it was not just a one time, lackadaisical cleaning. It appeared to be the norm. Sweeping Beauty is a disgrace to cleaning companies!! The owner Kathy is totally unprofessional and down right nasty! I contacted Sweeping Beauty in June, in hopes of finding a cleaning company that was fair in pricing and efficient in their work, and professional cleaning girls. Initially, when I spoke with Kathy, she seemed very nice, and I set up an appt to have an estimate. I met with Molly, the manger, and she couldn't be nicer. She addressed all my concerns and we agreed on a price after going over ALL the services that the girls are to do. I scheduled my first appt for July 6. When I went in to inspect their work, I found that things weren't done according to my standards and asked the girls to go over things. I just want everyone to know that I'm one of those people who clean before the cleaning people come, so my house far far from dirty. But, with that said, I left things for them to do. I specifically left my nightstand lamp dusty, to see if it was going to be done, and to my dismay when I went to check, I saw that it wasn't done. I asked the young lady if she wouldn't mind dusting it. So, here's strike 1! If they are professional cleaning crews, NOTHING should be missed! The bathroom floor wasn't cleaned or disinfected properly either. I asked the girls what kind of cleaning products that they use, because the smell was bothering me and making me physically sick, and they said "oh it's Fabulouso from the 99 cents store."??? What???!!! The website clearly states that they use the best cleaning products to clean your home to make it sparkly clean. I don't think that using a 99 CENT CLEANING PRODUCT is the same as advertising that they use all high end cleaning products!! It's obvious that they are using the cheapest products to save themselves money!! I am HIGHLY ALLERGIC to many products so I can ONLY USE "method brand cleaning products". I told the girls to please not use the products they came with and I gladly offered mine. . I spend the extra money to keep my house clean and also pet friendly. I don't know what is in "FABULOSO"!! It smells disgusting, and to advertise that these cleaning products are so called "top of the line", is a complete and utter fabrication. They are substandard by anyone's definition, hence the 99 cent price tag! The girls rush thru, don't clean throughly, and expect that the sub standard products that they use are ok. This company is A TOTAL DISGRACE!!! I had my 2nd cleaning this past week, and AGAIN, things weren't done to my satisfaction. The bathrooms weren't cleaned properly, I asked that the girls do the tile walls, because I had house guests, and that wasn't done, I had asked them to do the cobwebs in the rooms, that wasn't done, the kitchen floor wasn't touched!! The bathrooms floors weren't touched!!! The walls in the bathtub weren't done, I can go on and on. So, on Wednesday morning, I called and spoke with Molly, who was very nice and apologetic. I explained to her that I work on Long Island, which is a 2 hr commute one way, and that I didn't get home until Tuesday night at 11:00 pm from going in on Monday morning. I expressed to her all my concerns and she said she would have Kathy call me. When Kathy called me she was VERY ABRASIVE AND ACCUSATORY!! She told me that she needs to be notified if I need to use different cleaning products. I told her that using substandard cleaning products in my home was UNACCEPTABLE!! Also, What does my cleaning products have to do with them properly cleaning my house?? I also tried to explain to her what had happened and that one of her girls broke my moms heirloom piece, and SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO CALL HER BACK ON HER CELL PHONE AND AT THE OFFICE AND SHE DIDN'T even have the DECENCY or COMMON COURTESY To respond!!! That is completely INEXCUSABLE AND TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I have reported this company to the BBB and consumer affairs and the local news papers. I'm writing this to inform other potential customers NOT TO BE FOOLED by Sweeping Beauty! We hired Sweeping Beauty because it was close and they were available. They cleaned my home twice and we stopped using them. They fly through the house, leaving areas untouched. When I called to nicely ask if they would clean the shower in my master bedroom, I was given a very rude response by the owner; basically saying 'if we have time'. There were a couple times where they got the rooms to be cleaned mixed up, but we had a complicated cleaning schedule. I think one of their issues was that the same crew was not always sent to our home every week. I just used Sweeping Beauty for the first time. I paid extra for this first cleaning because we just moved in. Well, they wouldn't empty the waste baskets (if they don't, who will, me?), they did not dust the window sill as they said they would. They dusted the end tables but did not wipe them down, and my little toddler's fingerprints were still everywhere. They did not vacuum my walk-in closet, and they definitely did not wipe down the kitchen cabinet doors and one of my granite counter tops, which is still greasy. They left streaks on the hardwood floor. After they left, there were two puddles of water on my child's play mat, and the water didn't evaporate until several hours later, which means it was full of chemical. I called Kathi and she promised to come out to re-clean. I waited all afternoon and she did not show up. I used cleaning services in my prior houses, so I know what level of service to expect. I really am not a picky person; i just want my place to be cleaned. Now i have to clean the place myself before company comes this weekend. I've been using Sweeping Beauty for about a year and have had continual issues. My preferred method of contact is email and responses were not always timely. Beside that fact, the cleaning is not consistent nor is it good. At best they seem to dry dust the furniture, they used my cleaning products when they supposedly have their own. Always knock the bathroom mirror off the tracks of the medicine cabinet and cannot seem to vaccum the cobwebs that always collect on either side of the fireplace. They do not clean the inside of the microwave or empty trash cans. I was told from the beginning I could not have more than 7 items out on my dresser in order for them to clean. So, I always spent the night prior and the morning of my scheduled cleaning doing alot of prep work for a mediocre job at best. I am paying for a service so I don't have to come home and clean but I seemed to end up paying for them to do a less than thorough job and end up cleaning myself.
