We met with him for 30 min, which he told us to take certain steps to resolve if we owed as much as we did. This is not what we were looking for. We knew we owed. We were asking if we could sue for reimbursement from an LLC for not paying those taxes. He never answered this question, even though I asked it several times during the consultation. I thought he was telling us to find Step A out first before we went to Step B. And then he had the gall to get snotty with me about how that wasn't what he thought I was asking and that I would need to ask a different attorney that question. So, $750 wasted cos you know he's not gonna give that back for not answering the question I asked in the first place and then getting annoyed with me for answering a question I already knew the answer to. Don't know how to find an attorney that specializes in our case without being charged several consultation fees just to be wasted not getting the answer we asked for.

I was very specific with Lynne the intake person, that I would not be able to pay the $850 for simply reviewing the documents unless the firm takes cases like this on contingency or flat fee, which she said they did. Lynne then said the attorney would give me feedback on the prereviewed documents for two hours telephonically, and provide a transcript of the call on the day of the appointment. So I sent the money, emailed all the documents and set the appointment. The day and time of my appointment came and went without a telephone call. I finally called Lynne about a half hour later to inquire about the appointment. She said she would find out what happened. I finally received a call from Kevin Florin about a half hour later. During the call I got the distinct impression that he had NOT reviewed the documents. He wanted me to tell him about the case, which I found strange because I had sent everything a week before. During the call I noted he always waited for me to bring up the facts on the documents, details he should have been familiar with if he had actually read them. He never initiated the details on the documents, I did. Then I noticed he had not even looked at the court docket on line because he denied knowing about the documents I mentioned were filed by opposing counsel. Then he went into their hourly fees of $500 an hour. I explained that I had already previously visited this matter with Lynne and she had cleared the matter because I had the ability only to do contingency or flat fee. I ended the call within the hour because I was sure I had already been taken for $850. Then I called Lynne and told her how very disappointed I was. She had Ariel Rosenzveig call me with Kevin Florin on the line. Ariel Rosenzveig basically reprimanded me without knowing any of the facts or even hearing my side. What they were doing is unfair and unethical. They are not to be trusted. After reading Diana S.dated May 2, 2024 review (I wish I had read two weeks ago), I realized I just how badly I could have been taken. Stay away from this law firm they are not going to fight for you, they only fight for themselves.
