He uses a vacuum attachment with his trimmer and it really reduces the itchy sensation kids have. He did haircuts for all 3 of my kids and my husband in one go. YOU GUYS...it was so affordable. All 4 cuts were $50 (pre-tip). He's got a cool gold chair at an old-school barber shop called Xavier's. The place isn't kid-oriented the way Sharkey's is, but David is definitely a kids' barber.

This place opened up near our house and I've been wanting to take my son and husband to check them…read moreout but the reviews made me caution coming here. Recently a friend tagged them on IG and I was impressed. So my son and I took a look at some of the posts from their barbers and he really liked the line ups of Huicho. So I set an appointment for him that same day. Huicho was super nice and chill. My son really liked him and told me that's his new barber. He did exactly what my son liked. His old barber was good but the lineups were never consistent and often times sideways. Thankfully not pushed back but I would have to fix it. However, Huicho lined him up straight and the rest of the cut was perfect. My son came out with more confidence and came back telling me he needed to go tip him more because the cut was so good. So if you're looking for a barber in EG check out @huicho_blendz for sure. I sent my friend and her son and they had someone named JJ and his work was also very good, I believe they said JJ will now be their sons main barber. I'm sure any barber here you go to will take care of you. But I can only speak on the ones I first hand saw the results. So huge shout out to Huicho and JJ. Input from my teenage son : The atmosphere was relax and chill. Clean and they didn't make me feel uncomfortable. Definitely coming back for future cuts.

Despite numerous reviews calling out the lack of professionalism at Faderoom, I decided to give…read morethem the benefit of the doubt. I had just moved to Elk Grove and needed to find a reliable barber, so I booked a 9:00 AM appointment online with Weez. I arrived a few minutes early, only to be told I was at the wrong location. That part was on me. The barber there couldn't take me--understandable--but he did offer to call the other shop to let them know I was headed over. When I got to the second location, things went downhill fast. Even though a big "Now Open" sign was displayed, the lights were off, the door was locked, and the place looked completely deserted. No barber in sight. No sign of life. Nothing. A few minutes later, I got a call from Weez informing me he wasn't working that day after all. He said he'd try to get me another appointment and promised to call me back in three minutes. That call never came. No update. No apology. No follow-through. By this point, I had wasted my time, wasted my morning, and was now late for a meeting across town because of their complete inability to manage basic scheduling or communication. The reviews warning about unprofessionalism were absolutely right. My experience confirmed every single one of them. If you value your time and expect even the bare minimum of professionalism, look elsewhere.

Honestly, the fading was some of the worst, all you kept saying was your hair if thick probably 3 times you also left the back way longer the it should've been. But in my opinion your 45 minutes definitely isn't worth the 50 dollars let alone in your area. I didn't plan on going back nor do I. I was more concerned on how you would address the issue that you could've easily fixed in maybe 10 minutes and it was 60 dollars total 50 for the cut 10 as a tip.

Therefore, when I needed a last minute haircut, I took a deep-dive into researching reputable barbers. After browsing many portfolios and reading a plethora of reviews, I found QB. After booking my appointment via the Booksy app, I prepared myself for what would be an exceptional experience. Upon arriving for my appointment, QB warmly greeted me as he cleaned his chair and motioned for me to take a seat. Since he is not my regular barber, he confirmed my desired style (i.e., length, taper, facial hair) and immediately went to work. Throughout the process he would briefly pause to ensure that he was headed in the right direction (good communication). Towards the end of the appointment, he provided me with a hot towel service that I didn't know I needed - very relaxing and gave my skin a healthy glow. I was very satisfied with my haircut, it very much so followed the quality standard set by my primary barber. I found the experience that QB provided to be efficient, but not rushed. As a father, I was impressed to see the barbers change their current music selection when they observed that a small child was present in the shop. I would highly recommend booking an appointment with QB!
