Swarovski. BLING! Walking past Swarovski in the Victoria Quarter, with its seductive low light either blinds you solidly for 4 minutes due to reflective glare and ultimate spectral sparkle, or pulls you in until your grubby mits are pawing at the window and drooling. Ok I'm lying. It does both. Pretty. It is very pretty. Shiny, sparkly, expensive, decadent and pretty. Everyone recognises the label Swarovski, so it's a perfect place to hunt down a gift, a special gift mind, as previously mentioned, those little sparkly clear nuggets of colour shooters are expensive. The glass fronted store is an entry way to all the glass fronted cabinets. No chances of getting the mucky paws on those bad boys without a suit clad sales assistant, and it's only if you're in the spending mood that you will be able to handle these little beauts. Prices range from the modest £35 for the smallest of bling crystal, and can go as high as the several hundreds, especially if it's a show piece or a full sized figurine. If it's for a special birthday, and you've got a collector giftee, then club together if budgets won't allow, as the cost for the look on someone's face when they open the Swarovski box, is indeed priceless. read more
