A full day of pampering or relaxing will cost £50 for one person or if you want to book with a friend or partner £75 is a great deal. I have to knock marks off checkout as another receptionist was on the phone sorting out someone's booking for a wedding and another member of staff who could've helped us blatantly ignored us. The room was excellent. Clean, warm and inviting. Plenty of towels and pillows (and storage space.) The inclusive WiFi was fast which was excellent. Didn't have breakfast here but it smelt inviting. There's also a mini gym on site but we didn't make use of these facilities.

It is within very easy reach of the A55. I would thoroughly recommend that you take a look at this place if you are looking for a reasonably priced venue. The sweet menu was written on scrap paper and even then they didn't have half of what was on it, so it was not a good experience. If you just want a meal, I would try somewhere else.

On one side you have the incessant drone of the very busy, ghost highway that is the A55, ploughing its way west through communities with a searing red tail, and on the other side you have bountiful country fields and fauna. Overall, a decent place to stay if you're working locally, but i can't imagine going there on hols!

There wasn't a massive choice, the main was either turkey, beef or leek and potato bake, but this simplification probably helped as the service was very efficient. Thirty plus people were served three courses in about an hour without anyone being made to feel to rushed. I think everyone left happy, but then again we weren't paying!

Most main meals are served with chunky chips and a selection of roasted vegatables. You can book to eat in the Restaurant set near the back of the pub up a small flight of stairs, food is still of a fantastic standard although not worth the extra money. I have eaten at this pubs at least once a month for the past 5 years and the only cause for complent I have is the atitude of the staff who served Xmas Lunch on boxing day in the restaurant.
