U-Haul renters beware!!! I rented a truck from another state and turned it in at this location…read more The truck was in better condition than when I rented it. It was rented with 3/4 tank of gas and I even returned it with a full tank. When I received the confirmation email that I had turned the truck in, I noticed a cleaning charge for 25.00. I called and was told the truck was filthy and needed cleaned. I then called U-haul (main number) and they looked at the cleaning charge on the invoice and said it seemed "strange" because the dealer is supposed to upload photos of anything that needs cleaned and no photos were uploaded. The UHaul operator put me on hold and called the dealer (a perfect storage-Taylors, SC). The UHaul operator said the lady at a perfect storage told her the truck was full of gravel and white pebbles. I'm attaching a photo of the truck just before I turned it in. It looks clean to me.

The 4 star rating is because of how relatively cheap this place is, and It does have a good…read moresecurity system but for any campers needing storage, the only entrance to the place is a pretty good size dip and your camper will scrap and rub and potentially damage something unless you have a jacked up camper sitting high off the ground. Be mindful and go very slow! And it was not explained to me that I needed to give a 10day notice of moving out prior to cancellation and I was charged an extra month because it was at the first of the month. However I do understand this. Otherwise people would just not pay. So be sure to give a 10day heads up prior to moving out. Thanks for the refund and customer service is on point. Overall and very decent experience with them and if I'm ever in need of storage I will be using them again. I do recommend Poinsett Self storage.
