I've never had SO MUCH FUN picking out glasses. We ended up going in on a busy day when they were short handed, but Jim and Sherelle knew just how to handle it. They divided their attentions, worked as a team, and Jim always seemed to know when we needed something. Working with Jim was such a fun experience. He is courteous and attentive, yet his humor shines. I found myself giggling quite a few times during the process at his under-the-breath comments. After ordering, Jim continued to keep in communication, ensuring everything was exactly as we wanted it, and our 4 pairs of glasses were ready in less than a week! I've had glasses for the last 6 years, turned 55 this year! NEVER had a pair that I've liked before from Henry Ford. Dr. Maloney was BY FAR the most thorough, friendly and professional exam ever. I held off my review until both pairs of glasses came in and I wish I could give 10 stars. If you have Blue Cross insurance this is a must to give them a chance. Ray-Ban progressive glasses and my first prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses are AMAZING. Glasses came in extremely fast and everyone I encountered was awesome. Looking forward to my Wife and daughters coming here on their annual date. So happy to be able to see my phone, read, drive, watch tv without switching pairs of glasses. I will go to the Romeo Plank and 24 Mile Rd. every time I need my eye exam! This Dr is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! He is not one to say that you need more than you do. A very upright and honest man. I only went yesterday for my exam. I will never go back to this location for glasses again. I have dealt with used car sales people who were more upright than the sales person I purchased (never should have) from on my last visit! Even to ask to get a copy of my script yesterday, I was approached very rudly by the sales 'man'; and his associate standing near by, 'she' was also rude when finding out I wasn't going to get new glasses. read more

This was my 1st visit to SVS Vision and I was very pleased with the services provided. The staff was very efficient. I made my appointment on line, received a reminder call the day before advising me of what my current vision coverage would provide. Received an excellent eye exam and my glasses were ready for pick-up within a week. Received an extensive eyeglass care/maintenance package, which was surprising. Most eye care places only provide an eyeglass case and maybe a cloth. SVS provided lens cleaner and packages of lens wipes. I plan to return for my yearly exam and eye glass requirements. read more

I had the absolute best experience at this location. Dr. Maloney was very personable and took the time to ask me about any issues I may have been experiencing. He informed me what he was doing throughout each step of his exam. He made it a very comfortable experience. Jim was also full of energy and I could tell that he thoroughly enjoys his job. My son and I had our first appointments with this SVS back in January 2021. Staff was wonderful then. Since I personally have never had to wear glasses before, I asked the young lady helping us to recommend a pair that she thought would look decent with my facial features. I loved the first pair she picked, and still do. The doctor was great and answered all our questions. I have some scratching on my lenses so went back 10/2021. It was a great experience overall! Scheduling an appointment online was super user friendly as well as completing the patient paperwork online. Got to the office, and everyone was SUPER nice. The process was very quick, I think I was in there for under an hour getting my eyes checked and getting new glasses. The Doctor was SUPER nice, you could tell he genuinely cared about your well being. I forgot the Saleswoman's name who helped me with finding new glasses, but she was SO nice. I felt very safe and comfortable here. They wipe down everything as you touch or try it on. Made me and my girls feel so welcome and I truly appreciate that! The doctor is so nice and he really cares about each person that sits in his seat!!! My 10 and 11 year olds love how he talks to them and really is really understanding of what they need. My husband and my two children went to SVS last week for our yearly eye exams and new glasses. Dr. Maloney was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what was going on with my children's eyes, as well as my own. The opticians were friendly and knowledgeable, not only with the fittings and the paperwork, but finding glasses that we would like. Excellent experience from the eye doctor to the sales staff. Now a days unfortunately many people have no pride in their work. The entire building was full of smiles and hellos while fully acknowledging the current pandemic state. In particular my sales rep Jim was very informative, patient and kind as I searched for my glasses. That man should be teaching a class on great customer service. They were very good they listen and 'looked and saw the problem spot that the other store had been missing for for 2 weeks I was in severe pain because of the other store didn't seem to care but I couldn't take the pain or the headache and called this store the next day and they were wonderful now on day 2 and I don't realize I have my glasses are on thank you 24 Hayes I will diffenly be your customer from now on. read more

I have been to several locations and this one 3-4 times and they are all very good and have a great selection but this Hayes location is my favorite. Great staff and they make you feel like a friend instead of an unpopular family member. I love my glasses and I could have never been this satisfied on my own. Thank you SVS. Scheduling was easy online. The doctor was right on time with my appointment and offered me a couple different options for my contacts and even gave me a box of each to try. I order the contacts and they were ready in 2 days. The office staff is very friendly and fun to be around. When my contacts arrived, they asked me to call when I got there and they would bring them to my car. What great service!! read more
