These ladies & Doc's @ this location are true ROCK STARS! Vision test this past spring. Finally had the opportunity to pick out my daily & saftey glasses. They actually had my info on my safety's in my file. I came in on a Friday picked out my daily's from their awesome selection & was out in 30 min! 10 days ( including a wknd) & my glasses were ready for pick up. Zero issues. I received a really nice gift package w/ all I needed to maintain my specs. It was Halloween & even got a yummy goodie bag of treats. I'm always in a rush ( it's just me) & they are on point! I had another pair that they sent in to update my new script. 7 days to receive. Excellent prices, customer service, positive attitudes, attention to detail. I'm from Petoskey & have many choices. My wife and I recently had the opportunity to select glasses from SVS Vision in Gaylord. The customer service and attention to detail we received from Amanda and Liz was excellent. The two worked together to make sure we had the best features and value based on our insurance coverage. Selecting glasses was fun, as the store had the latest styles in eyewear. Liz enjoyed getting us glasses that fit, matched our personalities, and looked good on our faces. In addition, Dr. Kristin White performed an eye exam for my glasses prescription. I was impressed by her knowledge, enthusiasm for her craft, attention to detail, and patient-care skills. As a college instructor, I would give the entire team at SVS Gaylord an A+. Received excellent service!!! Monique and her co-workers were very helpful in assisting me with trying on at least 100 pairs of glasses! I had my eye exam done at another local eye care office - and while the doctor there was very nice, the staff was horrible! SVS Vision staff was very friendly, extremely accommodating, and got me an appointment the same day allowing me to transfer my prescription and order my glasses (at a fraction of the price) and they already had my insurance information on-hand when I arrived. My husband and I will now be transferring our records and doing all future business with SVS Vision and recommending SVS Vision to all our friends and family. My daughter was playing with the baby and the baby grabbed her glasses, pulling the arm loose. We just moved to the area in March and haven't established eye care here yet, so we decided to check out svs vision because they were one of only a few places open on a Saturday. I went in and explained what happened, and what I was hoping for, which was a temporary fix to the problem and to schedule my daughter to be seen and update her prescription and glasses. Both women that were there were extremely kind and so nice to work with. They both went out if their way, in my opinion to help me. Also the store/office as very clean and they had a good method to keep frames clean when you wanted to try them on. I'd definitely recommend others to check them out! read more

I was moving my eye care from an out-of-town practice to SVS. They were able to get me scheduled the next day, which was phenomenal! The dr. took her time to understand all of my eye ailments along with my other health history that plays a role in what can affect the eyes. The ladies up front also were amazing & so patient when helping me to pick out my eyeglasses. I get such anxiety having to pick them out, and they were awesome at helping me select styles to try, reassuring me that it was okay to take my time & try what I needed, letting me send pictures to friends to get their opinions, and most importantly were very honest in their description of how each pair made me look. I did not have an scheduled appointment and I walked into the Gaylord, MI store in need of an adjustment on my glasses. They took me right in, sat me down, adjusted my glasses, and I was on my way in less than 10 minute. This was great customer service from this office for which I greatly appreciated their service. I live over 70 miles from this store, and they could've very easily asked me to schedule an appointment and come back. SVS was extremely helpful explaining eyeglasses to me and helping me to pick them out. In the past it has been so difficult to pick out eyeglasses at other stores when they tell you to just go look at the wall and pick something out. She helped pick out glasses for me, asked questions first to see what my needs would be, and narrowed down the choices to a few which made it so easy for me. She explained how scripts and eyeglasses worked. She walked me through the complicated steps of how to use my insurance to my best advantage. The Staff is so great!! Every one of them are extremely friendly and helpful!! I felt like I was part of their family. They took their time with me and helped me to pick out some glasses after my eye exam. Also, their COVID protocols are top -notch. Everyone wore masks, there is sanitizer throughout the store and they sanitize each pair of glasses you touch immediately for the next person. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time! Great experience! The staff was very helpful, thorough, and full of kindness. I felt like I was their number one priority as a patient. They even helped me get into contact lenses which I was told in the past was not available with my prescription at a different office. I took my daughter to an eye exam for the first time ever! The staff were so wonderful and accommodating. They all were masked properly so we felt very safe at our appointment. They made my daughter feel so comfortable it was a wonderful experience. The Eye Doctor was quite polite and explained each step clearly and made eye contact to make sure I knew what steps would happen and when, being deaf that meant a lot. I really appreciated the help because you can't take anyone in with you due to covid so I went to a couple different employees for help between 2 pair of glasses I couldn't decide on and they were wonderful at helping me. Great folks. Extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Also liked that they weren't super pushy about buying glasses and/or contacts from them if you weren't ready to pull the trigger.
