The owner Dave was extremely knowledgeable in designing a system to meet our needs. Levi was nothing short of amazing in the installation - proficient, competent, and considerate! Service manager Tyler completed this amazing team with a follow-up and inspection of the product and installation. We couldn't be happier with the softener as we definitely notice the improvement in cleaner laundry, sparkling dishes, brighter bathroom fixtures (especially the toilets!!), and the good feel on skin and hair. We are no longer concerned about bacteria in our drinking water from the spring. Our only regret is that we didn't do this years ago! Thank you to the team at Quality Water Systems!

Three years after paying Greg (owner/sole employee of Central Oregon Water) for a "top of the line"…read moreKinetico system, I ultimately abandoned both the system and Central Oregon Water altogether. I switched to a different company and installed an entirely new system at great expense because there were too many ongoing issues with water quality, equipment performance, and customer service with Central Oregon Water/Greg. This was not a decision I made lightly, especially after paying a large amount of money for the Kinetico setup. I spent months trying to address water quality issues that were still present after installing Greg's Kinetico system and adding more equipment on top of what I initially installed. The money I spent on Greg's Kinetico system was a total loss because I had to scrap it and pay for an entirely new system with a different company to finally get good water for me and my family. Throughout the time I worked with Greg, he installed equipment that never resolved the problems he claimed it would fix, failed to properly maintain what he installed, and repeatedly failed to diagnose issues correctly. When problems occurred, he often blamed anything except his own equipment -- including my plumbing and my well -- rather than taking accountability or finding a real solution. For example, he blamed salty water on a lack of water pressure. That turned out to be inaccurate, as he eventually found a broken Kinetico part after I complained multiple times over several months. He also blamed heavy iron intrusion and red iron deposits on fixtures on my plumbing, yet I re-piped the whole house after he installed his filtration system. There are other examples that I won't list in this review to keep it as concise as possible. The new system I switched to eliminated these issues entirely. After switching to a new company and installing their different filtration system, the water quality issues I dealt with for years have been fully resolved. That outcome makes it very clear that the problem was not my plumbing or my well -- it was the Kinetico system and the lack of accurate support/information I was getting from Central Oregon Water. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding Central Oregon Water and Greg.

I knew nothing about it, thought the old 1987 pump was gone for sure, but I called Quinn, and they sent a tecnician out within 3 hours of my calling. He gave me an estimate for a new pump and system, as he said the pump is old and now has sustained damage, but he didn't try to convince me to buy a new system today, which would have been difficult for me. I am so grateful for the quick response, the effort to fix the pump rather than telling me I just needed a new one, and the courteous service. I would definitely recommend them to others, and will be calling them for a new system when it is necessary.

For the past 6 months or so, one of the local drivers who services the downtown area, specifically…read moreMiddleford Alley, blocks the entire alleyway so no local merchants, or customers can enter. It is a one-way alley, and a very busy one! I have made him aware of the situation he is causing. I told him I too, that I need to load and unload my equipment, and need access. I stressed that he will most likely cause an accident at some point if you block the Central Avenue access. you'll be hung out with no place to go, forward, or backwards. He seems to be very cavalier about the issue, didn't want to be bothered. I told him if he pulled up the alleyway another 30 or so feet, the alleyway widens, he could pull off to the side alleviating any traffic jam. The second time this happened, same scenario. I contacted Mt Shasta directly on their 1 800 number. The person in charge (did not get a name) said he would follow up with the issue, but made many excuses for the driver's behavior and demeanor. Today, again similar scenario, only this time the UPS truck was added to the mix. I want to point out that UPS did nothing wrong. The UPS driver had to accommodate the Mt Shasta Water's driver's mistake. I was left stranded as I tried to pull in to Middleford Alley. Cars on Central were honking, and added to the mix, a lady in a red Mini Cooper who was parallel parked could not leave because of the mess created by this Mount Shasta driver. The driver leisurely walked out, and said to me (because he remembered me) and said "oh, it looks like I blocked the alleyway again" in his best smart-ass tone. He also told me he had permission from Medford police to park there". Really permission to break the law? I called the Mt Shasta 800 number again and spoke with Bob Hersey. The local Central Point number just keeps ringing when you call, no voice mail. Must be great for business. I believe he was the same person I had spoken with a couple months prior. I reiterated the situation with him. He seems distracted, and uninterested. He said he would "follow up" with it and speak to the driver. I asked him about the prior phone call with Mt Shasta, he conveniently had no recollection, and didn't seem interested in finding out if there was a prior call in to Mt. Shasta. I asked him what he meant by a "follow up"? In my opinion that should have happened on the first phone call. I asked if he could call me back to follow up, he then told me could not because he "did not have a pen" to write my number down. Please see the pictures on the scene. They were taken from Central Avenue today during the issue. What a jackass!
