One of those rare meals where every dish hits the spot, and manages to exceed expectations through the level of care and thought put into the food. Each dish was beautifully balanced both texturally and in flavour. For example; the poached egg starter was taken up a notch with feather-light root crisps and preserved lemon zest. The chocolate and blood orange dessert had so many different elements to appreciate; crunch from salted hazelnuts, a smooth citrus mousse, dark silky chocolate gelato, a ganache(?) of chocolate and hazelnut.
