GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE. I talked to them- they're better. It did change owners, tons of issues- but it always DID. I only go for larger items on occasion. But even so, always noticed issues. My assessment: the new owner was misled about the state of the equipment. These people appear to have bought it in good faith from a guy who always had issues with equipment but returned cash if needed. But he was def keeping it functional using bubblegum, caulk and paint. Clean, but not working well. For YEARS. It seems the new owner wasnt told the place is held together by bubblegum, caulk and paint. I hope this new fella is ok with so many repairs- and I'm sorry for him. But it seems he thinks it's a crazy state of affairs as well. I'm hopeful! read more

The 2016 YELP Review #220: Came in during a road trip from Florida (a much need stop). The location was recommended by the cashier at the local IHOP, with some reservations. So, I really didn't know what to expect. Well, I am really glad that I didn't come to this laundromat because I learned that it is under new ownership. The place has been cleaned from ceiling to floor (new paint was going up while I took care of my tasks). In fact, once on property I met Darren and Suzie, the owners. Incredibly nice folks... that is when I decided to remove the old business from Yelp and add this new one. Their drive to make improvements is amazing. If you are someone that respects the honest reviews of a Yelp Elite, well then, I highly recommend this business. If you come here you will find it as I did... clean and well organized. If you are local and you are an avid book reader, please consider this location as a drop off location for your previously read materials, as they are building a Book Nook. Any place that has books draws me in (lol, seriously)... I have read signs and other places that market the concept as, "Need one? Take one! Have one? Leave one!" Oh, and these books shouldn't be limited to just adult books. No, you can't forget the kids! So if you're having a garage sale and you have left over books, why not consider donating them here? Need WiFi... They have it... and it's free! Last note: I love a place with rolling baskets... and they have them. read more

Do not go to this laundromat. They must have had a change in management or ownership because it used to be a good place not anymore. I,I was using a machine that took all my money 775 and did not run and did not return my money put my clothes in another machine put in the 575 same thing it did not run and did not return my money. I called the number to tell them about this and got no response within the time I was there very poor customer, service and unreliable machines. If you do end up going, do not use machine 16 and 18 very disappointed are you still like this laundromat and it was convenient, but will not return here. read more

Suzie's is a great hidden gem for a laundry mat. The prices are reasonable and the place is always clean. The owners are extremely friendly and always willing to chat to break up the time waiting for the cloths to finish. Like all laundrymats when its busy theres no room to move so choose the time wisely. The hours are great for all schedules. If your looking for a clean safe laundromat to get your cloths done if its a family of 6 or 6 shirts Suzie's is the best place to go in hackettstown. read more

The owners really take good care of their customers and the whole facility. Place is clean and well organized and the prices are reasonable. The owners are very friendly and willing to help out. Stop in here regularly after fishing and camping trips to de-funk! read more

Was on vacation, in the area, for a few days and this place was recommended by a buddy. Super clean and no nonsense. The owner was there and was very hospitable and chatted with everyone like they were old friends. All of the machines appeared to be relatively new and well maintained. read more

When my usual laundromat in Washington burnt down a month or so ago, I reluctantly went to the only other one I knew of in town. That facility was dirty and poorly maintained. I counted a dozen "out of order" signs on various washers and dryers the day I was there! So the next time I had laundry to due, I did a local web search and found Susie Clean Laundromat in Hackettstown. It's further (I live in Washington), but well worth it. The facility was spotless and all of the machines were in good working order. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, there is an available restroom for patrons, a television at each end, and a vending machine which had a varied selection which included a number of healthier snacks. There was even a well-maintained children's area with books and toys. Their hours are also very accommodating. I have been there twice now. This last time (a Friday night), there was a young male employee working meticulously wiping down the machines, sweeping the floors, taking out garbage, etc.. He definitely showed pride in his work! Sure, I know no one really enjoys doing their laundry, but Suzie Clean goes out of their way to make it as pleasant an environment as possible. Traveling thru from FL to Maine and Suzy was able to accommodate us with and wash and fold service with quick notice on a Friday night no less!! We were able to pick up late the next morning from dropping it off that afternoon. Not to mention she is friendly and thoughtful as she included a little snack with our pickup! Thanks again, Suzie!
