While working with us, she served on the local realtor's ethics board and nourished active relationships with pet shelters. When the seller desired it, which was the case for us, she set it up so a dog would be shown on a video alongside our house... So, if someone was interested in buying the house, they could reach out to Karen and if they wanted to adopt the dog, then they would reach out to the partnering shelter organization. Her background on ethics was highly important to me because our experience was not a good one when we bought the house. That time, we barely saw that realtor and was passed around to other team members. With Karen, though we interacted with others, it always felt complementary to the work she was doing with us. S Throughout the process, Karen was responsive and communicative (sending weekly update emails). A great teacher with much patience, she educated us on all the steps along the way. Her immense research, experience and skills allowed us to trust her even when we didn't trust each other. Karen is a blessing to the industry and I will absolutely return to her next time I am needing a realtor.

They obviously knew the market very well and the staging was INCREDIBLE and instrumental in the quick sale of our house. Happy with the counsel/advice we received and the fantastic service. While Cari Ann Carter Group is at a slightly higher % for realtor fees, worth it just for the staging and high touch service. UPDATE (approximately 1.5 years later): We recently used Cari Ann Carter again for the purchase of a lot. This was a bit spontaneous and Cari Ann is a pit bull when it comes to advocating for you. We were able to put in an offer Sunday, get a counteroffer Monday and secure the property on Tuesday. She was INSTRUMENTAL in making this happen quickly and is the best negotiator ever! She set reasonable expectations for us, which we really appreciated, and was very open in feedback along the entire way. More importantly, she is a DO-er! She had 2 contractors out within 12 hours of walking the property to help us with the logistics of design, finding a contractor, etc. You want her and her amazing team on your side when you're buying or selling!

A Truly Amazing Experience, My Saving Grace:…read more When I was faced with needing to move back home to be closer to ill family, I hired "the best realtor" in the Twin Cities area.... after nearly 70 days of lies, minimum effort, and lack of communication I had to make the difficult decision to fire them and start from scratch. This is where I met Justyna! She called me within 15 mins, I explain my situation, and I felt she was just as upset as me if not MORE of how badly I was treated and the time I wasted with my first realtor. Justyna would contact me anytime of day being flexible with my overnight sleep schedule! She staged my house, suggested remodeling some walls to make the house more attractive to buyers. NOT ONLY DID JUSTYNA have an offical offer in my hands within 2 weeks it was 20k OVER MY ASKING PRICE! I had my house on the market for 70+ days and had dropped the price nearly 18k with no offer...Justyna had it up for less than 2 weeks and I received an offer for more than my original posting with my first realtor. Justyna knows what she is doing and not only that she truly loves what she does and loves to help others. Thank you Justyna for being my saving grace in a time of feeling totally defeated and taken advantage of by my first realtor. You 100% turned my selling a home experience around. Now I can enjoy my time with my loved ones and not live everyday in fear of not selling my home in another state, or taking a huge financial loss on a single income. Give Justyna your time and she will give you the best blessing of your life by selling your home at the highest value!

Buying something as expensive and important as a house virtually seemed nuts. But as the new year began we started getting the urge to just take a look. Who knew that within just a few weeks we would have an accepted offer? There is no one else we would have felt comfortable buying remotely with. And the only reason we changed from just looking to seriously buying was because we came to trust and rely on Billy's opinions. He is not just a savvy and knowledgeable realtor, he is truly a sincere and nice guy. He would warn us that even if we lose out on a house, in the end it always works out (and SPOILER ALERT he's right). But he still commiserated with us when we were outbid and he really went above and beyond when we were searching for the right home. And he really does want to find you the right home. He will be honest with you about any negatives he sees and he will steer you away from any bad decisions. Sometimes we were so keen to just get a house that we were willing to settle or make hasty decisions. But Billy makes sure that whatever house you get is a great house and whatever you do is sound and smart. And I'm so glad that he was there with us helping make all our decisions. He would give us daily updates of his endeavors going door to door and networking with other agents. In the end it was a note of his he left on the door of a house that was off the market that did the trick. We were able to buy a house that was miles better than any of the other houses we put offers on with basically no other competition. In the crazy housing market right now you need someone like Billy who is willing to go the extra mile. He was always trying innovative techniques to help us stand out amongst other buyers and that's exactly what it takes these days. He's continued to be invaluable after closing. He was great to bounce ideas around with about updating the house after moving in and he and Heather have been great with recommendations. He is always super responsive and I'm so glad I can still rely on him even after we've closed.
