It happens often that because of good reviews you end up in a restaurant and feel disappointed at the end of the dinner. I was prepared for this to happen after reading on tripadvisor, but my worries were for nothing. This really is a good place and I subscribe to previous reviews.
A friendly waiter, proud on his restaurant, assuring us that everything is fresh, takes care for us. He does this in a genuine hospitable way.
The food is authentic, I have never been there, so it's a bit of an assumption, but a safe one. Fresh, well prepared and served with pride for the food. The taste is sensational. We had the lamb curry that was labelled as Sri Lanka street food. As a whole dish a bit dry, but part of a sharing dinner, it brings interesting textures and flavors. The other dishes, the famous chicken biryani and a lentil stew were very flavorful as well, served with rice and a roti.
Prices are moderate and perhaps even low for what is offered. All in all this is really a good and sympathetic restaurant and it deserves also in this review the maximum score. Well done. read more
