If you're looking for someone to plan the trip of a lifetime, look no further than Jane Shobe. She…read morecreated the most incredible, seamless travel experience for us--from start to finish, every detail was thoughtfully handled and perfectly executed. Before we even left, Jane ensured all our flight information was properly in the system, gave us tailored travel options to match our style, and provided us with super helpful extras--common language phrases, tipping guidelines, and clear, easy-to-follow itineraries. We felt so prepared and at ease the entire time. Our Ritz-Carlton cruise aboard the Ilma was absolutely unforgettable. The itinerary took us from Lisbon to Tangier, Malaga, Cartagena, Valencia, and finally Barcelona. The ship was stunning, our room was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the service? Truly five-star. Every staff member on board made us feel special. My husband, who wasn't sure he'd enjoy cruising, is already talking about doing it again--Alaska or Norway next! Jane also arranged flawless logistics between every location. From airport to hotel, cruise ship to hotel--at all hours of the day, in multiple countries--our drivers were always early, professional, and courteous. It made the whole experience feel effortless. Tuscany was magical. I was unfortunately sick for two days, but that slower pace ended up being a blessing in disguise. My husband unplugged from work and finally relaxed. We played golf, went on walks, relearned backgammon, read books, and soaked in the stunning views. We still managed to make it to Siena and a local winery, which was the perfect little outing. We can't recommend Jane highly enough. Her professionalism, care, and attention to detail made this one of the best trips we've ever taken. We're already looking forward to the next one she plans for us!

I, age 23, visited this travel agency looking for recommendations for a trip to Thailand and…read moreVietnam for my friend and I. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and left me feeling uncomfortable and talked down to. The woman I spoke with made comments about how young I looked, asked whether I had talked to my parents about the trip, and said something along the lines of, "If I were your mom, I wouldn't be letting you do this." My mom had in fact, come in the day before interested in booking a family trip for us to Costa Rica and had suggested I go since she initially had a good experience. She was well aware of my plans to go in there and that should not be a matter that they are considering when helping someone book a trip. I understand that safety is an important part of travel planning, and I'm absolutely open to hearing professional advice about potential risks. However, the way they went about this situation was not the best in my opinion. Thailand and Vietnam are destinations that many people visit independently, and I was hoping to get practical recommendations and advice about planning our trip. Instead, the conversation left me feeling judged, and the alternatives suggested were a cruise and a much more expensive guided tour, neither of which was what I initially came in looking for. Although the follow-up email was polite, the in-person interaction left a negative impression. I believe a good travel agent should listen to what clients want, offer balanced and informative advice, and respect their ability to make their own decisions. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here.

From start to finish, every detail was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy our vacation. The apartments she selected were all fantastic--comfortable, beautiful, and in perfect locations that made exploring each city so easy. Every train and transfer went seamlessly, which made traveling between destinations completely stress-free. One of our favorite planning tools was the electronic itinerary Joana created for us. Having our entire trip, daily schedule, reservations, and all the important links at our fingertips made navigating each day incredibly easy. It was so convenient and gave us complete confidence that we always knew where we needed to be and when. Joana also planned wonderful activities that were engaging, fun, and truly family-friendly. Our three daughters had an amazing time, and every experience felt perfectly suited for both adults and kids. We absolutely fell in love with every destination she recommended--Rome, Florence, Santa Margherita Ligure, and Genova. Each stop had its own unique charm, and thanks to Joana's planning, we were able to experience the very best of each one. If you're looking for someone who is organized, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely passionate about creating unforgettable travel experiences, we can't recommend Joana highly enough. She turned what could have been a complicated international trip into a smooth, memorable, and truly magical family vacation. We are already looking forward to planning our next adventure with her!

Everything was included in a detailed trip plan she put together in a PDF document that became our go to resource whenever we need to check on a flight or hotel booking. When we needed to make a change to a Cathay Pacific booking she called them and waited forever to get the change done and she was even available for a quick text if I had a question. She is a real pro, Thank you

Arranging a tour or cruise can be confusing and difficult, especially with so many competitors all…read moremaking similar claims. We chose Expedia to travel to Europe this year. We ended up picking a Princess Cruise and related land tours. Dave Branson is our consultant and he took it upon himself to arrange the cruise and our land tours and flights. He did a superlative job. One can only hope that a cruise meets the expectations that the advertisements often pique. In our case, Princess came up short, being that the ship seemed to be out of date in terms of decor and amenities. Food was also inconsistent. The tour advisor cannot be blamed for the failings of the cruise line. Without Dave Branson our experience would have been far different, and probably much less enjoyable.

You can't beat Expedia in Laguna Hills. I love a cruise…read moreship, the luxury, the service, the engineering marvel, the ocean, the food the entertainment. I've been many times for over 25 years and booked direct and with travel agents. Direct is ok for something simple, you know the cruise line maybe and maybe repeating a trip...say Carnival for the Christmas weekend to Ensenada...but my experience is that the pricing is the same whether buying direct from the line or buying with a travel agent. The travel agent gets a small commission from the line, obviously but they are buying at a discount so the pricing is consistent whether buying from the travel agent or going direct. But what you get FOR FREE from the travel agent is often invaluable in the form of advice about a particular line, the cruise, the ports, where on the ship you want you state room and a dozen other question that these experts to provide. The team at Expedia Laguna Hills is great at this. Old school customer service, actually answering the phone personally and helping you RIGHT NOW, not a website, not endlessly clicking for answers you can't find, real answers when you need them. Dave, Chris and others are responsive, knowledgeable, experienced and very easy to understand, very hard to find in our modern world and so great to have them right here in Orange County.
