But they don't have a history, or training and experience they can cite, Companion does,many years of experience, When I had to move and needed a place to board my service cat there was no doubt in my mind where to go as I'd had prior experience via grooming services, I was experiencing the stress of moving at my advanced age,along with health problems. Companion has a unique set up with special cages where the animals can go back and forth and up and down. There is a room where they can roam about with supervision. My cat, who'd never been away before, did fine, Companion went above and beyond to help me out during my troubles, Mike and Cindy, the owners, are some of the kindest people you will meet, I recommend them unconditionally.

Our paperwork was faxed over from their other vet in Reno. The First Lady who came in was going over the charts and was very confusing to me. We weighed each golden before we went in the room and they didn't put done their weight so we had to tell her three times to get the right girl and weight with the right one. Again she was confused. So anyhow she leaves to get the shots and I was just thinking I won't be back. ( that lady wasn't nice or friendly to us or our dogs) maybe she was having a bad day. But now the silver lining is Dr Mary came in and was amazing..... We will stick with them. Update to follow

Dr…read more Cutting and the rest of the staff have sent beautiful condolence cards when three of our animals passed on, and have provided exceptional care for the duration of our time with them. Without getting into a long, drawn out review (which it was turning out to be!), one of my recent experiences with Companion demonstrates their flexibility, creative thinking, and dedicated staff to doing what is best for the animal. Long story short, they figured out a way to clip our dog's nails without him pitching an absolute fit. This may seem silly to some; however, if you've adopted a dog from a shelter, you know that dogs (and other pets) can come with quite a bit of baggage. So, thank you, Companion Animal Clinic. You are a saving grace to so many animals in Douglas County.

Bentley turned into a fantastic Yellow Lab and Jameson seems to be on the way as well (touching wood so I don't jinx myself). Barb (my main contact at Cabin Creek) was extremely helpful and kept me posted of Jameson's development the whole way up to me collecting him a week ago. The Kennel is very big and there was also a litter of black labs when I picked up Jameson. Choosing a puppy is never going to be an easy task but Barb gave me some great advice and so far everything has gone well. I hope I'm not looking for another puppy for a long time but if I was I'd definitely be calling Cabin Creek.

If you go to a library to verify it in older books or any of the "developers" of this "Breed" you'll find nothing, at least I haven't so for. Lots of stuff on the internet, which can be installed by any good marketer. I was told by the kennel none were available immediately but then, a week or two later, a dog suddenly became available. Supposedly it was slated to go to someone in Alaska, the father of a close friend, but the prospective owner came down with cancer. Looking back it seemed believable but now ranks with , "I've got a lot of money I need to put in your bank for safety. I'm prince Mumba whaterver." I paid $1,400.00 for the dog and it lives up to all of its claims but it had a staff infection when I picked him up, I just didn't know it at the time. The staff caused a hair loss on both sides of his rib cage and we spent nearly as much as his purchase price to defeat it. I e-mailed them several times to advise them in case it may have spread to other dogs. Not so much as an acknowledgement. A great defense technique. In retrospect I believe I got scammed. It would have been obvious to a breeder when they saw the hair loss ( I saw it but thought it would grow in, he was just 2 mos old). Rather than sell the dog to a friend of a friend I got hoodwinked and was relieved of my money on what is probably not a "Breed" but more like an established crossbreed. I would not recommend this place unless you take a vet with you. He's about a year old now and turned out to be a great family pet and hunter but he'll never develop a decent undercoat. It was devastating but both Bailey's gave him incredible care in his final moments even letting us spend extra time together to say goodbye and then made the aftercare so filled with dignity and care, calling the wonderful souls at Roseburg Pet Crematorium for us and scheduling an appointment for us for the next morning, thank you for accommodating us for a private witness cremation. Feather and the entire team at Roseburg Pet Crematorium are complete angels. We were floored by how attentive, peaceful, supportive and caring every bit of the process was. We have unfortunately lost Whiskie's whole family of four earlier the last few years and other very beloved dogs through the years and no one is as understanding and careful about giving souls the dignity they deserve like Roseburg Pet Crematorium. All services and options for preserving memories with loved ones are impeccable and all priced very reasonably as well. Whiskie had a chronic cough his entire life from asthma and loved life but would cough whenever he moved and we cannot tell you how much it meant to experience how much care and love RPC put into his end of life care. Whiskie was cremated with peaceful loving care which he shared with everyone he met his whole life and that has meant the world to us. Mom and I were on a roadtrip to be with family and will be back to also pick up a beautiful engraved art piece to honor our beloved pets in our garden and honestly would prefer and will try to drive all our dogs from California to be cremated with peaceful loving care in Roseburg now. To be honest California private witness pet cremation services we have tried have ranged from bare bones to high end but none put as much care and patience and allowed us to be with our loved ones every step of the way and many were honestly crude and eager to charge unbelievably borderline scammy ridiculous rates for services that should be treated with more patience, respect and care not greedy salesmanship. Thank you for the incredible attention to detail, care and love you each all put into everything you do Roseburg Pet Crematorium.
