We looked at campers at our county fair found one we like in Susquehanna rv did paperwork to 3 day and a call frome use to even run a credit check. Yall ran it one from your end then sent it out to the highest interest rate place so Danielle could get a kick back at 15.9% and she really didn't wanna check anyplace else but we pushed a bit then check one other place after my wife gave her pay stub info then didn't hear back. So we called and had to leave a message for Danielle and still took days to hear back after we said stop we are done. When Danielle called back after almost a week total she said I know you said you were done why we said not paying that intrest rate of 15.9%. Danielle said I got another offer but if your done then I'll mail your deposit back. We talked the the sales man he told us what the other offer was and it 9.9% rate. He the said we will work something up for you and get back to you on Monday morning. I waited till just after lunch and nothing so I messaged the salesman and asked what was up he told me boss man was gonna call me shortly. This is now Wednesday evening and sill no call. 1 1/2 weeks and we checked at another place and did fined a little better %. I have talked to a number of people and have found similar things pertaining to the intrest and timeliness of the office staff a problem. This place needs to fix things as it did cost you 3 campers at the fair and 2 more after the fair. I hope to make that number bigger every day. Thank you for your time. My wife and I purchased a new leftover 2020 5th wheel in August of 2021from Susquehanna Valley RV The first thing was the rear Camera, it would not pair to interface, then the rear AC unit stopped working, after that it was down hill. The One Control that operates all of the electrics on the 5th wheel was not working at all, so just before Christmas of 2021 we returned the the 5th wheel to Susquehanna Valley RV for warranty work. Now it's July 15th 2022 and they are still trying to fix the 5th wheel and I've heard every obtuse excuse in the book over the last 8 months on why it has not been repaired in a timely manner. In April of this year, my wife talked with the manufacturer Forest River in hopes of moving the work along, and was told by Forest River that all they were waiting on was Photo's from the Service/ Warranty Department. Would I Buy another Camper from Susquehanna Valley RV....NO! Would I recommend Susquehanna Valley RV...NO! When I'm done here, I'm filing a complaint with the State Attorney General. read more

While Susquehanna RV has a nice inventory of RVs, their customer service and sales ethics have a lot to be desired. I guess the questions for me that would be most useful to a potential buyer is would I purchase from Susquenna RV again or whether I would recommend them to a friend or family member? The answers are both unequivocally NO based on our experience. I would tell them to look further or not to make a one visit sale. With any dealership, I think you should visit the sales lot on at least 2 occasions before moving forward with a purchase. I want to take the time to write a review because I found that overall there simply are not many RV reviews out there about RV dealerships. I think that if there were perhaps the customer service would improve. I also wanted to provide a cautionary tale. We happened upon Susquehana RV at the York RV show. we liked the 2014 Denali 280lbs bunkhouse immediately upon seeing it. We have 2 kids so the room and sleeping space in this unit would be perfect. After reviewing all of the features with the salesperson, we decided that the 280lbs was what we needed. We had looked at others but none of the others impressed us like the Denali. We made the offer and left the show knowing that our next step would be financing. It took a week to get the financing. Susq RV was very helpful with this aspect. The problem came when we had our site tour of our unit on the day we were supposed to close the sale. The tour went well but when the salesperson handed me the keys...they were labelled as belonging to a "2013" Denali not a "2014". HOLD UP??? Something is wrong with this picture. There is a huge difference between a 2014 and one that as been sitting on the lot for over a year. We talked to the manager and he tried to make some story up that he priced the RV for a 2013 with the winter package. In other words, he was trying to justify the price and indicated that the salesman made a mistake when he filled out our paperwork at the show. Perhaps I would have swallowed this excuse hook, line and sinker if I was a 80 year old who did not do the research; however, it was obvious to me that they were trying to pull a fast one. This same RV was posted on their website for several weeks as a 2014. I know because we looked at it everyday in anticipation of finally living out our dream. Same RV ...same VIN number...same stock number. I also know the price was right for a 2014 with the same package. The salesperson wrote down what he wanted us to believe. Our issue was that we had the check in hand...interest was already accruing...have a timeline that we are trying to keep...not so simple to walk away...which is what we wanted to do. Instead we opted to stay there for a little while to do research on my phone and iPad so that we could get a going price for a 2013....We did not trust them at this point. Let me tell you what the manager did next. He waited until my husband went outside to get something out of the van and then he came over to me and told me that we could leave to do our research....that we did not need to make a decision that day. He said this in a really p 'd off way...not very nice. It seemed cowardly to me that he confronted the woman and not the man.. He wanted us to leave to let them off the hook. It was not happening. When my husband came back in...I told him what the manager said...before he had any time to react...the manager was back and offered to take $2000 off the price. In reality we were pushed into a corner with their deceit because we had a time line to keep. We bit the bullet and took the deal. While the time lapse between the close and the delivery was unbearable, we were pleased to see that they did keep up the rest of the deal by making needed repairs (mostly cosmetic...dings) before delivery The delivery guys were nice but guess what....it's June 2014. Our RV was delivered mid April. Susquehanna RV who boasts about their customer service and many years in business on their website....have yet to make a follow up call of any kind. Not even a thak you for your business post card...nada . We purchased a $35,000 RV from a company that obviously does not value our business. I found some rust under the chassis so I will need to see if the warranty will cover getting this repaired. We say No!!! to Susquehana RV. We won't even go there to purchase supplies and toilet paper. If you plan to purchase from them, please proceed with caution. Either way, Enjoy your RV life. read more

Worst experience I've had. Took my trailer there to have an inverter installed. Called to make an apt weeks in advance and at that time, I informed them I was on a deadline. They assured me that the job could be done. When I took the trailer there, they called me to say they couldn't get the job done. Spoke to a manager. He couldn't have cared less. We were told the trailer would be cleaned and detailed before we got it since it was used as a model at the fair. Brought it home and there was glass all through the bathroom,vents and bedroom from a shattered shower door. Screen door does not latch. We were told a cover would cost around $200-$300 and when we ordered it it was closer to $500. This was a BRAND NEW 2018 travel trailer. I'm very disappointed with this company. Not sure we will ever be back. They should've done better with the glass incident. I cut my foot and now I have to go to the hospital to get a bill to give to them I refuse to do anymore running because of their mistakes. We just won't be back or give recommendations. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. On 6/5/2020 we went in looking to purchase a travel trailer. After searching the lot with a sales lady, we found the one we were interested in buying. She informed us that the travel trailer had gone through the full inspection to ensure all systems worked, and that there were no issues with the camper. She also stated that when we came back to pick it up someone would do a full walk through to ensure we knew how to use everything. When we went in to begin the paperwork we dealt with Mike, sales manager and negotiated a price. We paid by check and scheduled a pick up date. At NO point was anything listed AS-IS on the paperwork indicating paid in full. Upon arriving for our scheduled pick up date we were informed our was AS-IS. We did sign the paperwork work based on the word of our sales lady and sale manager. Fast forward, we never got a walk around to show us how things worked, then we took it camping. These are the issues we experienced: propane tanks were dated 2002, making them expired, the propane lines leaked, the refrigerator did not work, and there was no hot water. It was brought to a close location to be looked out to find out that it was NEVER inspected, which is a requirement in PA, and there were over $1,000 worth of things needed. Contacted Mike, sales manager to be told well it was sold AS-IS, and we signed the paperwork. When providing him with the original paperwork where they took our money he deflected. ***Be aware they will pull a fat one on you! read more

Terrible customer service. Took my camper in for a warranty repair. I waited 4 months for an appointment. I was being punished because I didn't buy my camper from them. They were the closest Authorized Service center for the make of the camper. Took the camper in at the appointed date. Called them in 2 weeks (that was the timeframe they gave me for the repair). They told me that they were in the process of bringing into the shop. They said it would be ready the following week "no problem". When I called to pick it up, they said that they hadn't worked on it and that were other campers to be repaired before mine! They wouldn't commit to a completion date because they were going to an RV show. Service clerk left a message for the service manager to call me back. He never contacted me. I wrote an e-mail to the General Manager. No response yet. I'm picking the camper up tomorrow (unrepaired) and contacting the manufacturer about their "authorized dealer". I'll try to take the camper to a local RV place (Susquehanna RV is an hour away from where I live). Hopefully they will agree to allow me to take it to Lerch RV. They don't care where I bought it. They have excellent customer service. Oh yeah, I filed a compliant with the BBB too. read more
