I told her that's impossible, I texted my husband 7/23 & wrote on calendar. She said well I cant get you in now until 8/21. I thought that was too far ahead & she put our appt incorrectly. They looked over the whole vehicle, NOTHING about needing a new transmission, JUST TRANSMISSION fluid!! So, NOW our car can't go over 15mph. People WARNED me about George's. We will never go there again! They did something to my transmission and we will be calling Hawkins and asking them if they noticed anything wrong with the transmission. I won't ever recommend this garage to anyone! There are OTHERS that accept SNAP FINANCE. Unless you want to get screwed over with your car, go to George's, they'll have you drain your bank account easily! SO MAD!!!!! I wouldn't even give them one star but can't post this unless I do.

Wanted to replace my clutch since I had a slight metallic grind when I'd press the clutch, took it…read morehere and asked if they did them and was told yes. They charged more for labor than the dealership would've and ignored the warning about the clutch they installed not being compatible with oem forks and pivot arm. They gave me the car back with no pressure in the clutch pedal and I tried to give them the keys back. They told me it was fine and to drive it, within a week tried to return it because my clutch pedal was sticking halfway up and they said "that's normal drive it" needless to say the clutch failed in less than a year and was blamed for driving the car I've driven for 35,000 miles prior to replacement like shit. Took it to another shop where I found out multiple bolts were stripped/cross threaded. Not to mention I lost my skid plate the first time I needed it because they decided it would be better to put it back on with zip ties instead of bolts. Also couldn't provide me with what brand of clutch they installed the very next day after they installed it, was told it was "probably luk" had my mechanic keep the old clutch and it was a valeo.
