I recently saw a NP at this office because all the MDs were booked up for months. While I REALLY liked her and felt that she listened to my needs, I wasn't seen until almost 40 minutes past my appointment time. They have a strict policy for cancellations and if you're late, which I can respect, but the same courtesy should be given to patients. I did reach out to a few friends that use this office and they did not have this experience, so I'm hoping it was a fluke. Like other reviews stated, the staff wasn't overly friendly, not enough to turn me off from returning, but definitely not friendly enough to make me feel super welcome. read more

I saw them for an annual exam and Lynda Smith recommended that I have blue light treatment on my chest. This was a few months after my mother had passed away. The aesthetician put numbing cream on my chest and torso then proceeded to remove some small freckle-type places on my chest but then she also removed my birthmark near my navel without asking about it. I was devastated when I realized what she had done. I didn't want to pay the remaining balance and I was taken to court over this matter. Though this is basically considered assault and battery in the medical field I paid the remainder of my balance to avoid more fees. Every time I look in the mirror I want to cry because I feel that such an important and meaningful connection to my mother was taken from me without consent or consideration. It was very obvious that it was a birthmark and I still cannot believe that it was taken from my body without my permission. read more

I called to see if they took my daughters insurance so I could make her appointment. They assured me they did. We've been there 3 times and they never said anything or asked for a payment. They called today and was very rude and said we owe them 748.00. Demaining a payment from my daughter and my daughter told them that we had asked before we went about insurance and she told them they lied to her and the girl said it wasn't her that had lied. They want payment right now . BEWARE!!! read more

The nurse practitioner was in such a hurry to diagnose me, treat me, and get on to the next patient, I'm not sure I ever got a correct diagnosis. After two treatments, my skin looking worse than before, I went for my next visit with the NP and realized they had me down to see the NP's Assistant - without telling me! As soon as I realized who I was seeing, I asked to see the NP again, who wasn't there that day, so I had to come back. The NP was quite short with me then, and I decided enough was enough. I made an appointment with another practice where I could see an actual MD and wouldn't get pushed over onto a hurried NP. Find another dermatological practice. read more

I called for three days straight just trying to get an appointment. No one every picks up their phone, even when you have a direct line to someone for scheduling. I finally decided if I can't get anyone to on the phone (Susan) to schedule an appointment then I don't want to deal with this practice. What if I had an emergency or a real issue? I hope Dr. Susong reads this and realizes that his front staff is turning people off. And I was referred to him. I am now telling everyone at my corporation not to even bother with this practice. read more

You don't get to see Dr. Susong. You see a physician's assistant. They have never been on time for any of my appointments and when I pressed them about that, they got quite snippy. They really didn't show any respect for me or my time. read more

My family have used Dr Susong's office for our dermatological needs for 30 years, mostly through Lynda Smith, Nurse Pxractitioner (N.P.). We have always received the best of care from everyone in the office including the support staff. Lynda has a brand of pragmatic humor that has always made her seem open to questions. She is a good listener, seems to really care for her patients and is interested in them as people. In addition, she is knowledgeable, very skilled and wise in her counsel. As a registered nurse myself, I highly recommend her care. read more
