Sorry to say we were not impressed by the food. We ordered a combination plate as we were not able to properly decipher the menu as it was exclusively in French and they had no English menu. The staff were friendly bilingual and very helpful. We ordered for 3. The quantity was not adequate to feed 2 let alone 3. The quality of the "sushi" rolls and sashimi was poor and amateurish. I asked if there was a Japanese sushi chef on staff or as consultant and was informed that no such person worked for the restaurant. Atmosphere was nice while the food was a 3 out of 10! Worst sushi in the world actually. DO NOT eat there - unless you want to overspend (70?!?!) for this terrible "sushi". It took us 5 minutes to try to determine what the crispy brown burnt bits were - deep fried onion? nope, deep fried wonton. When did we start putting deep fried wonton and ramen noodles in sushi? I think the staff was getting lazy and filling in for the fact that they ran out of anything else. Needless to say that we DID NOT finish it. I have to say I was a bit sceptical when I came across this sushi restaurant in Edmundston NB... Having never seen it here on previous travels, I imagine they are fairly new... That said, the staff was friendly enough so I decided to give it a shot. The menu offered a good selection of rolls and a variety of japanese appetizers. It seemed as though the servers were a bit overwhelmed, only two on the floor for a 2,000 sq foot seating area... That said, it took a little while to get my order taken so I decided to write it up on my own, strategically as I saw a table of 8 sating to look at their menus and only one sushi check behind the bar. When my food arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The rolls were rolled tight, presentation was nice and the house specialty rolls were quite tasty, be it a little expensive overall. There's still a bit of work to be done but it is a great start to the sushi scene in Edmundston. Would have liked to have seen some sashimi options on the menu... read more

Their sushis are good. The atmosphere is nice. Can be a bit of a wait but nothing too major. Respectful waiters. Average price, a nice and diversified menu. I go there once in a while and it is worth it. To be honest, this is not as good as the fine cuisine restaurants you find in big cities like Montreal but I think we are lucky to have this good sushi in such a small town. read more

The service is fine. The food, however, is disastrous from beginning to end. The chef has no idea whatsoever concerning Asian food. The miso soup had almost no miso, the sushi portions were tiny (literally, the tamago portion covered less than half of the rice), and the pad thai was an atrocity that had no resemblance whatsoever to real pad thai. It had zucchini, cauliflower, and huge chunks of cheap celery in it, the noodles were the wrong type and size, there was neither fish sauce nor peanuts, and to top it off it was way overcooked and served in a deep oval bowl resembling a small urinal that rendered everything soggy as hell. Oh, the shrimp tempura were tiny and had excess batter crisped to the colour of mahogany. My daughter looked at it and literally called it "scary looking". Sorry, but this is small town french idea of what asian food is and it is wrong, wrong, wrong. Not the server's fault at all. read more

I tried their sushi and a coconut curry soup. The sushi was excellent, however I was very disappointed in the soup. It did not taste like it had any coconut milk in it at all. I called back to check and no one spoke English. I will try it again however as I did enjoy the sushi and may wait to do it in person rather than take out. On another note they put the soup in a box that leaked. read more
