Very mini japanese/korean restaurant hidden between the busy street of Gereonsviertel, where the bars and some clubs are located. The small place is decorated so neatly with very asian taste. The whole tea placements and typical asian decorations will caught your eye the moment you enter the restaurant. What i like most: They have simple menu, so i guess people would not have to think very long on what to order. Competitive pricing for the quality and freshness of the sushi. Friendliness of the waiter/waitresses. Sushi boat! (What is it, you ask? - just see their menu and you will understand) What i dont like: Ummm, lemme think about it.... Wait... A.... Second.... The quality of the food is great and, prices are more than reasonable for the quality; which doesn't make it all that special. But, the outstanding personnel and the awesome Otoro do!!! I don't recommend trying this for the typical California Roll or Futo Maki fan or "aucthrup" (all-U-can-eat) wolverine since it would be an unpardonable waste. However, if you favor supreme quality and taste over quantity give it a try. You won't regret it!

I decided to make reservations the day of being that it was Valentines Day. Thank goodness I did! This little restaurant had no more than 10 tables. We were greeted by a sweet German lady who spoke English (phew)! We began with some sushi rolls and miso soup with a side of rice. Loved every bite of it... Especially the crispy rolls that were covered in tempura pieces...mmmmmm! As far as their sashimi, the quality was on par and it was definitely fresh and not "stringy/veiny." They're udon noodles were good, too. The portion was large and a good variety of veggies accompanied it. After tasting the soup, I knew it was a Chinese chef who made it. This was definitely a Chinese soup base, not Japanese. No matter.. Still tastes yummy! I was a bit disappointed to see their only desert was a Japanese moon cake. In my head, I was expecting a Chinese moon cake but it turned out to be Mochi. Japanese rice flour candy with a filling inside. You can buy these at any Japanese supermarket or bakery. I've never heard them referred to as "moon cake." Maybe this is a German term??! Who knows. All in all, it's still 5 stars. Good, friendly service, good quality, tasty flavored, and modern, clean decor. Wish it was in my neck of the woods :/
